GRAND OPENING of OSHBC!
In an effort to try to get the BDSM/Fetish community together in Opensimulator, we created this region based roughly on the SL HBC sim. This is to help people migrating from SL to Opensim to have a familiar place so they feel more comfortable transitioning to Opensimulator.
The region has several play areas, and a main meeting area for people interested in BDSM/Fetish lifestyle to meet up and find other like minded people.
NOTE:
I know BDSM / Fetish is something many people disagree with, and everyone is entitled to their opinion - but please - we ask that everyone keep negative comments out of the feed. It doesn't look good for the Opensim Community at large when people thinking of migrating from SL to Opensimulator see a bunch of negative remarks. Everyone has something they like and/or dislike, just like the BDSM/Fetish community doesn't negatively comment on what other people enjoy, let's afford the same courtesy to this community.
Now, more on the region:
The region has several areas available and is ADULT ONLY! We will ask any child avatars etc.. to leave the area or change to an appropriate adult avatar -
"The Yard"
This is the main hangout area where people can meet up, chat, hang out, and play.
"The Lobby"
Another hangout area with some BDSM toys etc.. for people to use at their leisure.
"The Cellar"
This area is a lounge with several seating areas as well as some gaming tables for people that like that and some private rooms for people to interact together privately uninterrupted.
"Shop" (under construction - approx. open date - 03/13/2026)
This area will have BDSM/Fetish related content that is free for all.
"Collared Dance Club"
We will be holding dances weekly here (we have to determine the best time / day for this)
"Cage Room"
Exactly what it says - a cage room for anyone who wishes to use it or play.
"Rubber Lounge" (under construction - approx. open date - 03/13/2026)
This area will be for those interested in Rubber Fetish (latexdolls, etc..).

Working on a V8 (version 8) of the OpenSIM ONLINE WEATHER SYSTEM. On this version, just adding an EEP addon. So if it`s raining on ur region, it inserts automatically an cloudy/rainy EEP sky on your region - owner no longer need be online to change it. (working with 4 variations - Total clear sky, partial cloudy sky, cloudy/raining/snowing sky and foggy sky. Still running some tests and also checking if it will work at least on the big grids. Any ideas of feedback how the weather system could be, post here.

💬 Lately, I’ve been seeing a lot of messages filled with anger, judgment, and sometimes even hate. And honestly, I find that quite sad.
🤔 Before writing these kinds of messages, maybe we should all take a moment to reflect. Try to understand the why behind things instead of reacting immediately. Behind every person, every project, every decision, there is a story, a context, and reasons we might not fully know.
🌎 We already live in a world where conflicts and wars exist because people no longer take the time to listen to each other. Everyone talks, but very few truly try to understand.
✨ So maybe, at our own small scale, we could try to do better.
🗣️ Instead of posting messages filled with hate or jealousy, why not simply talk to the people involved? Ask questions. Listen to the answers. Try to understand.
🤝 Dialogue has always been more constructive than attacks.
❤️ None of us are perfect, and we all make mistakes. But if we took a little more time to speak to each other with respect, many tensions could simply disappear.

🤔 Avant d’écrire ce genre de messages, peut-être devrions-nous tous prendre un instant pour réfléchir. Essayer de comprendre le pourquoi du comment, plutôt que de réagir à chaud. Derrière chaque personne, chaque projet, chaque décision, il y a une histoire, un contexte et des raisons que l’on ne connaît pas forcément.
🌍 Nous vivons déjà dans un monde où les conflits et les guerres existent parce que les gens ne prennent plus le temps de s’écouter. Parce que chacun parle, mais trop peu cherchent réellement à comprendre l’autre.
✨ Alors peut-être que, chacun à notre petite échelle, nous pourrions essayer de faire mieux.
🗣️ Au lieu de publier des messages de haine ou de jalousie, pourquoi ne pas simplement discuter avec les personnes concernées ? Poser des questions. Écouter les réponses. Chercher à comprendre.

🤔 Before writing these kinds of messages, maybe we should all take a moment to reflect. Try to understand the why behind things instead of reacting immediately. Behind every person, every project, every decision, there is a story, a context, and reasons we might not fully know.
🌎 We already live in a world where conflicts and wars exist because people no longer take the time to listen to each other. Everyone talks, but very few truly try to understand.
✨ So maybe, at our own small scale, we could try to do better.
🗣️ Instead of posting messages filled with hate or jealousy, why not simply talk to the people involved? Ask questions. Listen to the answers. Try to understand.
🤝 Dialogue has always been more constructive than attacks.
❤️ None of us are perfect, and we all make mistakes. But if we took a little more time to speak to each other with respect, many tensions could simply disappear.

💬 Ces derniers temps, je vois beaucoup de messages remplis de colère, de jugements et parfois même de haine. Et honnêtement, je trouve ça triste.
🤔 Avant d’écrire ce genre de messages, peut-être devrions-nous tous prendre un instant pour réfléchir. Essayer de comprendre le pourquoi du comment, plutôt que de réagir à chaud. Derrière chaque personne, chaque projet, chaque décision, il y a une histoire, un contexte et des raisons que l’on ne connaît pas forcément.
🌍 Nous vivons déjà dans un monde où les conflits et les guerres existent parce que les gens ne prennent plus le temps de s’écouter. Parce que chacun parle, mais trop peu cherchent réellement à comprendre l’autre.
✨ Alors peut-être que, chacun à notre petite échelle, nous pourrions essayer de faire mieux.
🗣️ Au lieu de publier des messages de haine ou de jalousie, pourquoi ne pas simplement discuter avec les personnes concernées ? Poser des questions. Écouter les réponses. Chercher à comprendre.

once you've portaled to a site, look for the magic rabbit hole to transport back to the landing, just walk into it

the landing on Kaze is set @ hop://gentlefire.opensim.fun:8002/Kaze%20no%20Chiiki/25/45...
According to OSW is is supposed to go to gentlefire.opensim.fun:8002/Kaze no Chiiki/25/457/24
when i check my map for HG it lands @ hop://gentlefire.opensim.fun:8002/Kaze%20no%20Chiiki/128/1...
That means that the URL is getting lost between the site and the beacon.
Kaze is a 2x2 .
That means that @JupiterRowland possibly has the right idea.
@JupiterRowland stated "There's no issue on the OpenSim Mantis, though, so I guess the devs don't know about this bug yet. Maybe we could conduct some tests to verify the bug (if there is one), make it reproduceable and file an issue. "
