Gotta clean install Windows 11 24H2... can't update to it automatically.

Bummer.

This means Lubuntu will have to be reinstalled too... in that process now, backed up a few hundred GBs of data from the main SSD of my laptop. Will install both OSs and leave them in a pre-installed but updated state before my bedtime... OK... Win11 will need the work apps back on first. Not too hard on that end, the fun stuff will have to sit aside. All backed up, the installers...
