I actually think it’s really good that this topic is coming up here again. I once saw a documentary about someone who had undergone the surgery and issued warnings about it. Leaving aside the actual details of the mutilation, the result is, more or less, that you can no longer have an orgasm and might end up having to wear diapers at a young age—just like elderly people who become incontinent. I really didn't mean to offend anyone, nor did I intend to ask any specific person personal questions—certainly not Dorena; that would have been a completely inappropriate comment for this section.
There are accounts on YouTube from people who have regretted this surgery. It worries me; I find it very sad, and I want to echo those warnings. I’ve had transgender friends, but we never discussed these intimate details—that’s naturally taboo.
I can easily imagine that many young people going through puberty feel different—or even completely different—in some way. In many respects, it’s an exceptional state of being. Projecting that feeling of "being different" onto one’s gender could—and I stress *could*—be a dead end. Some people still feel different after the surgery; it achieved nothing but created even more problems.
Dorena and I may have had similar experiences with social exclusion—I don’t know the exact details. I encounter stigmatization, defamation, and attempts to discredit me on a daily basis; I’m an outsider in various areas of life. Unfortunately, one has to realize that the very people who constantly prattle on about tolerance and diversity can ultimately be the most vicious when it comes to destroying those who are different.
So, I know what it’s like to be different, and I feel a stronger connection to transgender people than you might think. I don’t usually go for below-the-belt remarks, but I was so shocked myself when I realized what this means in *concrete* terms; it’s a taboo for a reason—nobody wants to know about it. I had a very young friend who applied for surgery at just 16. She wanted to be a gay boy. From a psychoanalytic perspective, in my opinion, this is an attempt to solve a much deeper-seated problem at a rather superficial level. That is where one ought to look—healing those wounds, so to speak; perhaps the problems can be resolved at a deeper level, tackling them at the root rather than just tinkering with the surface.
From what I hear, these surgeries are rubber-stamped very quickly—though perhaps that’s just a rumor? Even so, I suspect there is a deficit in terms of social-emotional connection among these candidates—who are often minors—where love would actually be the answer. Everyone wants to be loved, and ideally just as they are, regardless of what is—or isn't—going on in their pants.
That isn't the main point, though. I probably should have explained myself more fully... The mutilation of African women is also a major taboo; a book called *Desert Flower* eventually broke that taboo... that’s the sort of context I was getting at when I brought this up... A friend of mine, for instance, died of genital cancer—just an aside... Given my psychoanalytic training and experience, I believe it would be far more important to spend a great deal of time with these surgical candidates, to surround them with love and embrace them—not sexually. It may be possible to make up for missed developmental experiences and learn to accept one’s own body; this is known as "catch-up ego development." That sounds nice—or perhaps too theoretical—but the idea of ​​mutilating young people at age 18 strikes me as horrific.
Now, regarding Antifa: I don't think it's right to cut off the power supply to a section of Berlin's population; I have a feeling that attack was the work of Antifa. Some Antifa members are quite prone to violence. I was part of the squatter scene in Berlin before the Wall fell, and for a long time, I thought that was where I belonged. I also used to vote for the Greens—until that so-called "peace party" started pushing for arms shipments. I was a pacifist, I still am, and in all likelihood, I always will be. I’ve been a non-conformist thinker since my youth. The terminology around me is shifting, and much of what’s happening here is becoming increasingly absurd. I haven’t changed my mind on many things; I ask questions—yes, I question things, just as I always have. If the people around me change their minds, that’s perfectly fine—now they want weapons instead of diplomacy—but surely no one can expect *me* to change my mind too, and in the exact same direction as the person I’m talking to?
So, Dorena, it’s exactly as I told you: I felt personally triggered by my friend’s illness, because my stepfather is also very ill and I don't want to be reminded of things uninvited and without warning. Besides, as I said, if fascism returns, it won't wear the same guise. Both topics hit me right in the brain because of the graphic way you present them—there’s no way to shield myself from it; for me—personally—it feels intrusive. It’s not at all about whether you can read what I write or post; quite the opposite—I find it a shame. I hesitated for a long, long time before it finally became too much for me; I’m very sensitive, and certain things affect me more deeply than most people. So, if someone causes me pain and clearly intends to keep doing so, I have the right to turn away—or, in this case, to block them.
Obviously lots of people do anyway. And also without comment or warning.

Ich finde das ja wirklich gut, dass das Thema hier wieder aufkommt. Ich hatte damals eine Doku gesehen von einer Person, die sich hat operieren lassen und diese Warnungen ausgesprochen hatte. Abgesehen jetzt vom Hergang der Verstümmelung ist das Ergebnis doch mehr oder weniger, dass man keinen Orgasmus mehr bekommen kann und in jungen Jahren eventuell schon Windeln tragen muss wie alte Leute, die auch inkontinent werden können. Ich wollte wirklich niemanden beleidigen. Auch keiner bestimmte Person persönliche Fragen stellen. Und Dorena schon gar nicht, völlig deplatzierter Kommentar in dieser Abteilung.
Es gibt auf youtube eine Berichte von Menschen, die diese Operation bereut haben. Mir macht das Sorgen, ich finde es sehr traurig und ich möchte mich den Warnungen anschliessen. Ich habe einige Transgender Freunde gehabt, aber über diese intimen Details nie gesprochen, das ist natürlicht tabu.
Was ich mir gut vorstellen kann, ist das viele junge Menschen in der Pubertät sich irgendwie anders oder auch ganz anders fühlen. Es ist in vielerlei Hinsicht ein Ausnahmezustand. Das Gefühl des Andersseins nun auf das Geschlecht zu projezieren, könnte, ich sage nur könnte eine Sackgasse sein. Manche Menschen fühlen sich nach der Operation immer noch anders, es hat nichts gebracht ausser noch mehr Probleme.
Dorena und ich haben eventuell ähnliche Erfahrungen mit Ausgrenzungen aus der Gesellschaft, so genau weiss ich das nicht. Stigmatisierung, Diffamierung, Diskreditierung etc. begegnet mir täglich, ich bin ein Aussenseiter in verschiedenen Bereichen. Man muss leider feststellen, dass die, die immer von Toleranz und Diversität faseln, am Ende die bösartigsten sein können in ihrer Absicht Menschen, die anders sind, zu vernichten.
Also bin ich auch schon mal ganz anders und fühle mich mit Transgender Leuten mehr verbunden als ihr denkt. Ich bin normalerweise gar nicht unter der Gürtellinie, aber ich war selbst so geschockt, als mir klar wurde was das KONKRET bedeutet, es ist zu recht ein Tabu, keiner will das wissen. Ich hatte einen sehr jungen Freund, der mit 16 schon eine Operation beantragt hat. Sie wollte gerne ein schwuler Junge sein. Meiner Meinung nach ist das aus psychoanalytischer Sicht, der Versuch auf einer eher oberflächlichen Ebene ein Problem zu lösen, das viel tiefer liegt. Da müsste man hinschauen und diese Verletzungen heilen um es mal vorsichtig auszudrücken, in der Tiefe kann man die Probleme vielleicht lösen, an der Wurzel packen und nicht an der Oberfläche herumdoktern.
Was ich so höre, werden diese Operationen sehr schnell durchgewunken, vielleicht ist das auch ein Gerücht? Trotzdem vermute ich ein sozialenergetisches Defizit bei den oft sogar minderjährigen Kandidaten, wo also Liebe die Antwort wäre. Jeder möchte geliebt werden und im besten Falle, so wie er ist, egal was da in der Hose los ist oder nicht.
Darauf kommt es mir nicht an. Ich hätte wohl etwas weiter ausholen müssen... Die Verstümmelungen der afrikanischen Frauen sind auch ziemlich tabu, ein Buch namens "Wüstenblume" hatte das Tabu eines Tages gebrochen... es geht so in diese Richtung warum ich das angesprochen habe... Eine Freundin von mir ist zum Beispiel an Genitalkrebs verstorben, das nur nebenbei... durch meine psychoanalytische Ausbildung und Erfahrung denke ich, es wäre viel viel wichtiger mit den Operationskandidaten viel Zeit zu verbringen, sie mit Liebe zu umhüllen und sie zu umarmen, nicht sexuell. Man kann die fehlenden Erfahrungen in der Entwicklung und die Akzeptanz des eigenen Körpers vielleicht nachholen, man nennt das nachholende Ich-Entwicklung. Das ist alles schön gesagt, oder vielleicht zu theoretisch, aber Jugendliche dann mit 18 zu verstümmeln, diese Vorstellung finde ich Horror.
Nun zur Antifa. Ich finde es nicht ok, einen Teil der Bevölkerung in Berlin den Strom abzudrehen, der Anschlag geht auf das Konto der Antifa meines Gefühls nach. Manche Antifanten sind recht gewaltbereit. Ich bin in Berlin vor dem Mauerfall in der Hausbesetzer Szene unterwegs gewesen und dachte lange Zeit, das wäre mein Lager. Ich habe auch grün gewählt, bis diese angebliche Friedenspartei Waffenlieferungen forciert hat. Ich war Pazifistin, bin es und werde es nach aller Voraussicht auch immer bleiben. Ich bin seit meiner Jugend eine Querdenkerin. Um mich herum werden Begriffe geändert, vieles was hier stattfindet, wird immer absurder. Ich habe in vielen Dingen meine Meinung nicht geändert, ich stelle Fragen, ja ich hinterfrage die Dinge, so wie ich es immer getan habe. Falls Menschen um mich herum ihre Meinung ändern, so finde ich das völlig in Ordnung, jetzt wollen sie Waffen statt Diplomatie, aber von mir kann man doch nicht verlangen, dass ich meine Meinung auch ändere, in dann genau die Richtung, in die sie mein Gegenüber geändert hat?
Also Dorena, es ist ganz genau so, wie ich es Dir gesagt habe: Ich hatte mich persönlich getriggert gefühlt durch die Krankheit meines Freundes, da mein Stiefvater auch sehr krank ist und ich daran nicht ungebeten ohne Vorwarnung erinnert werden möchte. Ausserdem wie gesagt, wenn der Faschismus zurückkommt, dann wird er nicht das gleiche Gewand tragen. Beide Themen kommen direkt in mein Hirn rein, da du sie grafisch vermittelst und man sich nicht wehren kann, es fühlt sich für mich - persönlich - übergriffig an. Es geht mir überhaupt nicht darum, ob Du lesen kannst was ich schreibe oder poste, im Gegenteil ich finde das schade, und ich habe lange lange gezögert, bis es mir zuviel wurde, ich bin sehr empfindlich und manches trifft mich mehr als die meisten Leute. Wenn mir also jemand Schmerz zufügt und offensichtlich das auch weiterhin vorhat, dann darf ich mich abwenden, in dem Fall blockieren.
Das machen viele, wie man sieht. Auch ohne Kommentar oder Warnung.
