Sabaton – Chronisten des Schlachtfelds

In den letzten Tagen des 20. Jahrhunderts, genauer gesagt im Jahr 1999, formierte sich in der schwedischen Stadt Falun eine Band, die das Genre des Power Metal nachhaltig prägen sollte. Ursprünglich unter dem Namen Aeon gegründet, vereinten sich fünf junge Musiker mit einer gemeinsamen Vision: Joakim Brodén als Sänger und Keyboarder, Pär Sundström am Bass, die Gitarristen Oskar Montelius und Rikard Sundén sowie Schlagzeuger Richard Larsson. Diese Konstellation sollte den Grundstein für eine der erfolgreichsten schwedischen Metal-Bands aller Zeiten legen.

A while back her animals caused huge amounts of MySQL writes due a writing a notecard endlessly. Possibly the same thing as a grid I am helping fix is running 30 to 40 megabytes a second writes and is very very slow.

Open the Resource Monitor and look for excession disk writes by MySQL.

I want to thank everyone who participated in our little poll yesterday regarding adoption of PBR viewers. The tally as of today: 45% of the 29 respondents said they love it, 28% said they had tried it but had reverted back, and 14% said they had no interest in using one.

As I have shown before, the pic above shows the difference between PBR and full Blinn-Phong materials. Both are the best I was able to accomplish with each graphics engine. Both are part of all my builds now, so users can decide how they want to see them.

As many of you know, I've always been an early adopter and proponent of new viewer features, such as materials and eep, and used them in everything, regardless of how widely adopted the tech was among the user base. And as with pbr now, the primary early adopters are usually artists, designers, and creators, because we are are supported by a great group of patrons who enable us to keep doing what we love and push the limits of creation on this platform. So, if a user doesn't want to upgrade, we understand and we accommodate, but if they do, they're in for a treat :-)

for the past few hours I have been massively attacked on Facebook by a person – with baseless accusations such as fake identity, toxic behavior, and even pedophilia. Such allegations are not only hurtful, but also punishable by law.

To be honest: this whole situation is pushing me to my limits. After more than 15 years in OpenSim, I sometimes ask myself if it’s still worth it. But then I think of all the people, the projects, and our shared community – and that is the only reason why I don’t simply give up.

I just want to make it clear: these accusations are fabricated and have absolutely no substance. My energy continues to belong to Dorena_AI, to art, and to our world – not to the poison of a single person.

Whoever tries to attack me should know: I will not be intimidated. My projects will continue to grow – despite everything.

This beautiful Mayan-style ziggurat is available for you to add to your region if you are into ancient builds, sci-fi, and/or sci-fi fantasy. The stairs are very easy to climb, the Mayan carvings are original art from my AI Art program, and it has 2 floors inside with corner steps and serpent railing. The stone block texture is travertine, a commonly used stone in ancient times, but you can retexture it however you like. It's mesh, so it is modifiable, but that is limited. You can find this little gem in the "Ancient Builds" department of our mall. Blessings and much love, Lavia.

About Rigged Jewelry in My Shop

Some visitors have asked about resizing or rigging jewelry to fit their avatars. Here’s how it works:

Rings: My rings are rigged for a standard female hand shape. Often they will also fit men’s avatars, but for a perfect fit I would need to rig the ring to that exact avatar’s mesh. That requires uploading their full avatar to Blender, which most people understandably don’t want to (or don’t know how to) do. Because of the time and complexity involved, I don’t offer custom rigging.

Necklaces & Other Jewelry: Rigging necklaces to avatars isn’t practical. They tend to move in unrealistic ways, “flopping” around the body. Static or unrigged versions usually look better in-world.

Why I Don’t Offer Rigging Services: Every avatar body and hand mesh is different, and keeping up with all of them would be impossible. Rigging each piece individually takes significant time and effort.

I appreciate everyone who visits and enjoys my creations. Please know that what you see in the shop is what’s available—ready to wear as-is.

As part of our overall "facelift" for the mall, I have built a new ziggurat with more of a Mayan feel and used textures I made in my AI art program. The men's and women's shops are up, though they are not completely filled yet; we're working on that. All of the homes have been moved and categorized as "Victorian", "Modern", "Log Buildings", "Farms", and "Service Buildings". Our aim with all of this is to make things easier to find and more accessible for our patrons. We do this because elegance is an attitude and shopping should be an adventure.
