The island was home to a primitive tribe called Pau na Xota, commanded by the bloodthirsty King Naxota. This island was visited from time to time by beings that came from the sea. Some might call these beings zombies because they feed on brains. The fact is that there was a mating ritual with these beings, and the bravest warriors risked it. Obviously, some were devoured, but those who succeeded renewed the island's population. Thus, this unusual coexistence remains to this day. Note: Most of the characters are NPCs created by me. My Pol. Sci. professor said "politics happen whenever two people get together". That makes avoiding politics difficult. However, politics is more generally associated with making decisions in a group. And because of their role in elections and government decision-making, polls are a major part of the political landscape. An election itself is a poll (the only important one say some). Before and after elections, polls are a critical tool for gauging the "will of the people" beyond what simple election results can show. Polls are, by their nature, political.
A poll on OSW says that the will of the people here is that this is not a place for politics. But if you don't want politics on OSW, you lose just by voting.

In short, I don't think Politics belongs on the OSW page. There is Facebook, Instagram, tictoc and other social media platforms to express our views. Most of us come here to Opensim to escape the BS, and we use the OSW page to see what is new in Opensim, not to have to deal with more ideologies and agendas.
