# 🎙️ BloodMoon WebRTC Voice Update — Private Voice Calls Are Now Working! 🌙

Great news from **BloodMoon Grid**!

Following the recent deployment of our own WebRTC voice infrastructure, we're happy to announce another major improvement:

**Private voice calls through Instant Messages (IM) are now operational!** 🎉

Our WebRTC voice system continues to evolve, with additional fixes, improvements, and adaptations for our OpenSimulator environment.

### ✅ What's working now?

✅ **Proximity voice** — Talk naturally with nearby avatars.

✅ **Private IM voice calls** — Start a one-to-one voice call directly from a private IM conversation.

✅ **Voice participant indicators** — White dots showing voice participants, along with individual volume controls.

🔬 **Group voice conferences** — This feature has not yet been fully tested on BloodMoon. Further testing will confirm its availability.

### 🏠 BloodMoon Hosted Regions

All regions hosted directly by BloodMoon have already been updated and restarted with the latest WebRTC modules.

Residents can enjoy the new features without any additional installation, provided they use a WebRTC-compatible viewer such as a recent version of Firestorm.

### 🔧 Externally Hosted Regions

Region owners connecting their own simulators to BloodMoon must install the latest WebRTC modules and the required configuration and key files.

Updating the configuration file alone is no longer sufficient, even if proximity voice is already working.

For voice calls between avatars on different simulators, both simulators must be updated.

Access to our voice server remains restricted to authorized hosting IP addresses.

Pour permettre les appels vocaux entre avatars présents sur des simulateurs différents, les deux simulateurs doivent être à jour.

L'accès à notre serveur vocal reste réservé aux adresses IP des hébergeurs autorisés.
