When it comes to details Fred and Deb's Virunga leaves nothing to the imagination. I come by to leave a note or gift for Deb in her mailbox at Rosamond Halsey Carr house. Rosamond Halsey Carr (1912-2006) had a flower ranch in Rwanda,. After the genocide of Hutus by Tutsi, when 8 people were killed in her gardens, she turned her flower sheds in the Imbabazi Orphanage. She was 84.

Since that time Roz and her staff have cared for more than 400 children. Since Roz's passing in 2006, the orphanage is under the direction of Partners in Conservation and currently cares for more than 100 orphans.

Roz also wrote the book "Land of a Thousand Hills: My Life in Rwanda," with her niece, Ann Howard Halsey, chronicling her love affair with one of the world's most beautiful and tormented regions. She is also the 2004 recipient of the Volvo for Life Award.

The lagoon is designed as a natural part of the region and connects the maritime character of Fleetwood Beach with its distinctive Steampunk setting. The result is an area that invites both exploration and relaxation.

From here, visitors can enjoy interesting views across other parts of the sim, including buildings, technical constructions and nearby attractions.

For anyone who would like to experience the quieter side of Fleetwood Beach, the lagoon is an ideal place to stop for a while and simply enjoy the surroundings.

The Balloons of Fleetwood Beach

The Steampunk balloons of Fleetwood Beach offer a special way to explore the region from the air.

Visitors can choose between two different experiences.

There are player-controlled balloons, where you take the pilot’s seat and fly the balloon yourself. You control its altitude, direction and movement. The deliberately slow and slightly delayed handling gives the impression of flying a large, heavy airship rather than a fast vehicle.

If you prefer to relax and simply enjoy the view, you can take the automatic balloon tour instead. The balloon follows a predefined route through Fleetwood Beach, allowing passengers to enjoy a comfortable sightseeing trip without having to control the flight themselves.

This way, every visitor can decide whether they want to be the pilot or simply enjoy the ride as a passenger.

Whether you fly on your own or take the automatic tour, the balloons provide a unique view of the buildings, landscapes and attractions of Fleetwood Beach and are one of the most enjoyable ways to explore the region.

Maximillion Kleene

—usually known simply as Max Kleene—is a Canadian live musician who has been active as a resident in Second Life since September 13, 2006. His current Second Life profile links to his YouTube and Twitch channels, as well as his schedule and song list.
He is primarily described as an acoustic guitarist and singer with a relaxed, entertaining performance style. An older directory of Second Life live musicians lists him as being from the Niagara Falls region of Canada and cites rock, pop, and alternative rock as his genres.
According to his frequently published artist biography, his musical journey began with formal piano studies at the Royal Conservatory. Later, his focus shifted significantly toward the guitar. My Tears
Sometimes I wonder when we stopped truly seeing each other. Too often, people meet with hatred, prejudice, or indifference, even though deep inside we all long for understanding and a little kindness.
This tear is not only a symbol of my own sadness. It carries the sorrow of everyone who suffers when love is replaced by hate, when words become weapons, and when we forget that we all share the same sky.
Perhaps a single tear cannot change the world. But it reminds us that compassion is still alive. And as long as compassion exists, hope has not disappeared.

Hello everyone, I need some advice from experienced people

I have owned a 1024×1024 region on OSGrid for several years. The region contains about 10 small houses, and 6 residents each own a small parcel around their house.

I am the only person with management rights on the region. However, I rent the hosting from another person, who regularly creates OAR backups.

Today I discovered that all parcels have disappeared. The entire 1024×1024 region is now a single parcel owned by one of the residents, even though that resident originally owned only a very small parcel.

Of course, the OAR I received from my host now reflects the same situation because it was created after this happened.

I haven't logged into OpenSim for several weeks, and I haven't changed any land or region settings for months.

How is it possible for all parcels to disappear and for the whole region to become owned by another resident?

Has anyone ever seen this happen before?
