Invitation to the information evening for the big Pangea go-kart race on October 13th

Dear go-kart friends,

we cordially invite you to an information evening on August 9th between 11:00 am. and 1:00 p.m. (PDT) The focus of this evening is the planning and organization of our upcoming birthday go-kart race, which will take place on October 13th.

Details of the information evening:

Date: August 9th
Time: 11:00 am - 1:00 pm (PDT)
Host: Karsten Runningbear
Karsten Runningbear has created the scripts for the event and will provide you with important information. This is the perfect opportunity to clarify any open questions and find out more about the race, the race track and the conditions of participation.

Why is your participation in the information evening important?

Your participation in the information evening is particularly important because we will discuss all the details for participation there to ensure that you are well prepared. The conditions of participation are also explained in a way that is easy to understand for each participant. Here are some of the most important points that we will discuss:

Number of participants:

1. Each participating grid has the opportunity to register 2 participants for the go-kart race.

Registration deadline: The registration deadline for participation in the race is September 15th, midnight grid time.

2. Starting positions: The starting positions for the race are determined through a qualifying and sprint race. The better the placement, the greater the chance of winning.

3. Race duration: The number of laps is 10 - around 18 minutes.

Number of participants per grid: 2 drivers from each grid.

4. Race sequence: If more than 5 grids participate, there will be several races. From these races, the best times will then determine the drivers who will compete for victory in the last lap.

5. Training opportunities: The training area is open to everyone until September 15th (registration deadline). After that, only the registered drivers would train until the event.

Training on the race track has already started and we want to make sure that you get the most out of this preparation.

You will find out everything else at the information evening.

We are sad to announce The Roleplay Grid is shutting down as of August 5th, and at this time we do not anticipate a return.

The E Grid will remain running and is stable and very much still alive!

For us it was a situation of changed circumstances and cost of running TRG.

The E Grid is a grid running on our own 64 Gig Server, and so the cost is still not an issue.

Tenants on Paradise have been messaged, but if you did not receive, you have till August 5th to find a new home. We are sorry for this, and have tried to give some notice instead of just suddenly being gone ...
