Studnitzky ist ein Visionär, der es geschafft hat, eine eigene, unverwechselbare Klangsprache zu entwickeln, die sowohl in intimen Jazzclubs als auch in großen Philharmonien und auf elektronischen Musikfestivals zu Hause ist. Sein Spiel auf der Trompete und am Klavier – oft gleichzeitig – ist geprägt von einer tiefen Melancholie und einer fast schon spirituellen Klarheit.
