While I love the interior of the new Majestic Ballroom and don't want to change a thing, I am not happy at all with the exterior (pictured), since I feel it doesn't sufficiently capture the Art Deco style. So I'm pulling the venue for now to rework the outer facade. There is a ton of architectural inspiration all over the world to draw from. I'll send upgrades to those who have already purchased the current version once it is complete.

Ein schaler Biergeruch hängt in der Luft, gemischt mit dem Dunst kalten Zigarettenrauchs. Irgendwo läuft leise ein Fernseher, Nachrichten über Sparmaßnahmen, steigende Preise, die übliche Leier. Auf einer kleinen, improvisierten Bühne steht ein Laptop auf einem wackeligen Tisch. Daneben ein Mann, Mitte vierzig, starrt ins Leere, nippt an seiner Dose, während aus den Boxen ein roher, repetitiver Beat dröhnt, ein Basslauf, der sich wie ein Magengeschwür anfühlt. Dann tritt ein zweiter Mann ans Mikrofon, drahtig, energiegeladen, spuckt Worte aus, die keine Melodie suchen, sondern die Wände tapezieren mit dem Frust, der Wut und der absurden Komik des Alltags am unteren Rand der Gesellschaft. Es ist kein Konzert im klassischen Sinne, eher eine öffentliche Abrechnung, eine akustische Momentaufnahme des Zerfalls. Willkommen in der Welt der Sleaford Mods.
