An entire sim has been dedicated to creating background themes.

This is not your normal 'backdrop' boxes placed on a sim.
Many different themes are available.

Just a few themes to mention below:
A Burlesque Show where you can dance Burlesque with the NPCs dressed in colourful attire.

Asian themes, Magical Alice in Wonderland, Cafe's - join NPCs for cake and coffee.

Beaches and fishing. Horse riding - Forrest walks, hidden magical wonderland by tranquil creek.

Quirky dining in a backdrop set within a forest where an old bus converted to a home with overflowing creepers.

Visit the slums - the homeless - the forgotten ones within society. Take part in the boxing ring to knock out those responsible for the state of the world.

Some of the local NPC's are happy to have their photos taken with you.

Terrace homes with a fruit market - Mr Fruitier is happy to share his apples with you.

There is so much more to see and explore.

Ruritania chose the winner of its August photo competition and first place ended tied with two very different entries. One was a lovely sunset beach scene taken by Kris Konigsmann and the other Zadijah Shi pretending to be on the Titanic.

I made a dance hud with 105 dances. The main dance categories run down the left side of your screen. (purple bar in photo). When you touch one it plays the dance, touching again advances to tne next. When you reach the max it goes back to the begging in a loop.

A message to all Members and those that visit from other grids.

Inworld profiles do not work, my grid uses Jopensim and joomla and below are a few factors related to this issue. (I am not sure which version of dreamgrid this stopped working.

Foto the creator of jopensim is no longer invested in keeping this project alive. He has said he is done and his website is no longer active. I also assume grid is gone too but i have not checked it. https://www.jopensim.com/index.php

Joomla needs to be updated, however more important thing like getting opensim in dreamgrid stable is way more important. Maybe in the future once things behave things can be upgraded. Fred works very hard at what he does and this is a Fred fix. Please be patient as Fred works very hard and has more important things with dreamgrid at the moment. I am very grateful for what he does

If anyone who uses Dreamgrid with joomla/jopensim has found a solution please let me know. (will not roll back to previous version, code is old and fred no longer supports it)

for the past few hours I have been massively attacked on Facebook by a person – with baseless accusations such as fake identity, toxic behavior, and even pedophilia. Such allegations are not only hurtful, but also punishable by law.

To be honest: this whole situation is pushing me to my limits. After more than 15 years in OpenSim, I sometimes ask myself if it’s still worth it. But then I think of all the people, the projects, and our shared community – and that is the only reason why I don’t simply give up.

I just want to make it clear: these accusations are fabricated and have absolutely no substance. My energy continues to belong to Dorena_AI, to art, and to our world – not to the poison of a single person.

Whoever tries to attack me should know: I will not be intimidated. My projects will continue to grow – despite everything.
