Thank you all for your support. There are now six of us and hopefully more will join us over time. I think many are, very understandably wary and don't want to get dragged in to something they don't want to. But as I explained in introductory post on the front page, this group is simply about solidarity; standing together and supporting one another. Some of us will take on the fight, in the happy knowledge that there are others who think similarly.

I've just read the notorious Box on the front page. Apart from Pagane having another melt down, there are comments questioning the need for such a group. I can't be too hard on those people, but really they need to pull their head out of the sand. I don't wish to overstate things, but we are living in very dangerous times, the far-right mainstream political parties who are now gaining ground have been preparing for years, changing their image, softening their message and all the while attempting to persuade people to their cause, always ready to blame the 'illegal immigrant' the single-parent (usually a woman) poor people in general. That's just the start.

At the moment most of the comments in the box are dismissive and a little insulting to me, (I will not engage there) and at least one of them is revealing how well they did at Airhead Academy. That might sound cruel, but that person isn't really stupid (I hope) but they do rather overplay false equivalences and seem utterly incapable of seeing what is happening right in front of their eyes.

ABER: einen Grid-Namen kann man ändern, den schlechten Character des Owners und seiner Cyber-Ehefrau nicht. Mick Florido besaß das *Germanworldgrid*, eines der erfolgreichsten deutschen Grids, bis seine Cyber-Ehefrau Emma Florido kam, die unter Verfolgungswahn leidet.

Under the pretense of improving the Germanworldgrid technically, this grid was scrapped and now runs under the name * virtualvistametaverse.com (VVM for short) *
BUT: you can change a grid name, but not the bad character of the owner and his cyber wife. Mick Florido owned the *Germanworldgrid*, one of the most successful German grids, until his cyber-wife Emma Florido arrived, who suffers from paranoia.
Under their influence, numerous long-standing members were bullied, slandered, disgusted and banned. To top it off, some of these members were named in the TOS and the flimsy reasons that led to their banishment. (You can read it in a group on Facebook)
As *EmmaMercury* she ran after every pair of pants in SL that she has now found in Opensim. It destroyed a well-functioning community that is now scattered to the four winds.
Only new members come into this new grid upon recommendation, who also have to sign, among other things, that they will not come into contact with any of the former members.
I recommend Emma Florido, a very good psychiatrist

Weekenders! I started this in GCG as a fun way to explore the grid. I have little weekender cabins located around the grid for your weekend stay. Free! Perhaps, foremost, this groups serves our members as a refuge, and place to form connections and community. But the group is not just social. I hope it will be action-oriented. I'd like to help LGBT+ Focused places survive and thrive. We will also help promote LGBT+ Friendly places.

What is the difference between focused and friendly? LGBT+ Friendly places serve as friends and allies to the LGBT+ community. LGBT+ Focused places are intended to serve the LGBT+ community, but generally, are also open to all.

Many places that aim to be a gathering place have difficulty surviving in OS. But LGBT+ Focused places seem to have the hardest time of all. Most are listed by OSW as off-line, from anywhere between one month to seven years.

Here is a list of list of OS LGBT+ focused places that I found listed as on-line at the time of my search. I used the search terms “Gay”, “Lesbian”, “Shemale”, and “Trans” The information on the list includes Name / When Listed on OSW / Traffic Rate /Owner / URL / NOTE. They are listed in order of traffic rank. Most have dance clubs. (We could plan a Safari-style tour event at places without dance clubs).
