GRUG ASSAULT — Public BETA
Try a new drop-in action game for your grid.
Unlike most game systems that require you to rebuild your region around them, IMAGE is designed to work around you. GRUG ASSAULT is the public test platform for the IMAGE Matrix Action Game Engine — a deliberately aggressive deployment intended to prove the engine under real conditions before IMAGE takes up permanent residence at Dismayland Theme Park.
Each game mode in GRUG ASSAULT runs with its own custom music set, arena-styled audio routing, and purpose-built sound effects. This is not background noise or looping chaos. The region participates. The engine coordinates behavior, sound, and escalation so what players hear and feel directly reflects what is happening in the arena.
Before the IMAGE framework is released under a Creative Commons license, it needs real results: real stress and real breakage. If you’re curious, come in, push it hard, and see what fails. If it survives you, it earns its place — and so do you.
The IMAGE portal at Atrius Station Landing will take you directly to the Arena.
For convenience, a BETA PRIM nearby will DM you a live summary of everything currently being tested in the build. Adjacent to it is a KNOWN ISSUES board outlining active investigations and unresolved behavior.
BETA Incentive: To reward meaningful testing, the top five BETA participants will receive a complete, fully functional IMAGE Gaming System. To participate: Click my picture on the board to message me. This is the only accepted channel for BETA communications
Following the example set by Gimisa, everyone else will receive IMAGE as a tutorial on RELEASE day. You’ll be taken to a sandbox and guided through a complete crash course — from bullet logic, to weapons, to assembling an entire action engine. get set up with Blender downloads and add-ons, then go
over the Cool School Discord channel, and what to expect
in the upcoming workshops. Low stress, no pressure, just
getting everyone ready and on the same page.

This development addresses the immediate concern that many residents have raised over the past year regarding the content he has been promoting. I appreciate that this situation is being taken seriously, and I hope this brings some relief to those who have been affected or uncomfortable.
My original message was never about creating conflict or targeting anyone personally — it was about protecting our community and maintaining the standards that make OpenSim a safe and welcoming place for everyone. With this change, I’m hopeful that we can move forward with more stability and clarity.
If anyone still has concerns, questions, or needs to talk privately, you are welcome to reach out to me directly. Our community deserves a space where people feel safe, respected, and supported, and I will continue advocating for that.

Ozone Miniverse may be a closed content grid but we are not greedy. When we share knowledge openly and freely, EVERYONE BENEFITS. We had a nasty wake-up call last year. Our grid went down 6 months because of a hardware failure and lack of time to get things operational. We thought we were going to be gone forever. Thankfully, due to backups and a little elbow grease, we were able to restore Ozone in it's entirety.
An assortment of useful things were made and we had lots of people asking about them after closing SimGEAR. Now that I am retired, I decided to release this content for your PERSONAL USE. Open them, learn from them, improve them, get inspiration and make something better!
*This includes the coveted LIGHT CLUB many of you wanted....
Content will leave my grid sometime this weekend when I temporarily remove the EXPORT flag. I will give these packages to the following people and their representatives for legal redistribution.
