**⚠️ BLOODMOON GRID – VOICE SERVICE NOTICE**


Dear residents,

We are currently experiencing issues with the Vivox voice service used by OpenSimulator.

As some of you may know, Vivox announced several years ago that its free voice service for OpenSimulator would eventually be discontinued.

At this time, we do not know whether the current situation is a temporary outage or a permanent shutdown of the service.

**What does this mean for BloodMoon?**

- Voice communication through Vivox may currently be unavailable.
- The grid itself remains operational.
- Text chat, instant messages and other grid features are not affected by this voice issue.

**The good news:** The BloodMoon team has already been working on an alternative voice solution based on WebRTC technology, independent of Vivox.

Testing and integration are underway, and we hope to make this solution available across the grid once it is ready.

We will keep you informed as soon as we have more information.

Just updated the EUROPA multi destinations Teleporter Board - the previous one was too bright, sometimes, depending on my timezoned EEP sky one couldnt see at all the destination. Also, 18 scripts are now just 1. And for some SIMs I rezzed more than 1 of these, to entice visitors to go to other regions as well.

A few people still use PHP7 for Joomla V3. V3 and PHP 7 has reached end of life and no longer receives official security updates. Continuing to use PHP 7 exposes your grid to vulnerabilities that may never be patched.

When you start DreamGrid, you may be prompted to upgrade from PHP 7 to PHP 8.

Please select YES! Here's what happens:

YES — Upgrade to PHP 8: DreamGrid switches to PHP 8, removes your old PHP 7 folder, and hides the obsolete PHP 7/8 selection buttons.

NO — Keep PHP 7 temporarily: Your existing PHP 7 installation remains available, but it does not receive the latest PHP 8 security protections.

Test Joomla compatibility: If you're concerned about compatibility, test Joomla with PHP 8 first. Once everything works, restart DreamGrid and select YES to complete the upgrade.

I am freezing Opensim-Aura at version 1.1 and polishing it before moving to dotnet10.

Opensim-Aura is focused on HyperGrid Simulators rather than closed grid config.

- Distributed UUID among participating grids’ nodes, (UUID DHT (HyperGrid UUID locator)
- HG visitors’ assets stay in cache only, not in the db.
- Concurrent HTTP requests
- Xbakes use outfit deterministic ID instead of uuid
- Improvements to HG Friends, HG IM, HG Profiles, HG Group Profiles
- Display Names, HG compatible with Aura sims.

- HG groups in Sqlite
- HG Offline messages in Sqlite
- FSAssets for Standalone and Sqlite
