Our dear Luna Lunaria has passed. Rather than only mourn her, which we all do in our own ways, let us band together and show Luna's real life family...just how much she meant to us.

To some, perhaps Luna was a character from one of her rl human creator's stories. To most of us, she was much, much more. When I think of Halloween, I think of the story of "The Headless Horseman" which is pretty scary, so I made a couple versions of it, my personal favorite is the flaming one. Leo's Custom Tech N9ne "Ronald" Costume

So, I pretty much rode the "Watch the World Burn" train until i got somewhat burned out on that song. Made the t-shirt. Memorized the lyrics. Ronald has been my new song to digest and unpack...and it sure got me doing a lot of thinking. Song meanings, multiple meanings, etc. Decided to make a "close enough" version of Tech N9ne's costume from the music video. I guess what hits hardest is the senseless violence, shooting sprees, murders, especially in the USA, but all over the world, really. Some of us did not have a perfect childhood. Some are still struggling with issues of anger, depression, poverty, loss of loved ones, and more. I guess I am appalled at how many people are quick to judge each other if opinions vary. Metal music and hip-hop are criticized heavily, especially on Opensim, by older generations that don't understand it. Please understand THIS: I personally find singing or screaming along to songs like this, to be a much healthier outlet than punching holes in the walls of my house, self harm, harming others, and other things. It is one thing to say "this type of music is not my style". It is another thing to say certain music or entire genres are wrong, talentless, etc. To each their own. I am including the lyrics to the song in case anyone wants to think deeper and maybe understand some new things. Be kind to each other, OpenSim.

The Holiday Spirit has gotten hold of me and so I have been touched, though those who know me will tell you I'm touched (in the head) LOL. Anyway I just love working with my programs to produce beautiful things and this Nativity Scene has turned out lovely and will be a stunning addition to any Christmas venue or you can shrink it down to sit on a mantle or under a tree, but it reminds us of the REAL reason for the season.
