Imagine If I Said This About Charlie Kirk?

As you can see, Trump said that the murder of Rob Reiner was a political killing by someone who hates liberals. When even GOP pols said his remarks were disgusting, Trump, in typical fashion, doubled down and said Reiner was a terrible person -- like what some said about the hateful Charles Kirk, and were persecuted for it.

Isn't all political killing wrong? Will the name of Rob Reiner be added to the Charles Kirk Memorial region? Well, no, Rob Reiner and his wife were murdered by their son. Even so, Trump, as usual, neither corrected his statement nor apologized for it. It seems that the Trump Derangement Syndrome is what the MAGA crowd, and Trump himself, is cursed with.

By the way, this is not a political statement. If I wanted to make a political statement, I'd name a region the Rob Reiner Memorial. This is a statement against hate and violence. It just so happens that it's the rabid-right doing most of it -- according the FBI, by the way, before it was weaponized by Trump.

Here is what Reiner said about Kirk's death. The attack "should never happen to anybody," adding "I don't care what your political beliefs are. That's not acceptable. That's not a solution to solving problems." Here are some things Rob Reiner never said. Charles Kirk did, and is honored for saying them. With no sense of irony, or self-awareness, Trump said Kirk’s killing was “the tragic consequence of demonizing those with whom you disagree.” Demonizing, like this?
• Stoning gay people is "God's perfect law"
• "There's a direct connection to inflation and the trans issue.”
• People should have “just took care of” trans people “the way we used to take care of things in the 1950s and 60s" — which included lobotomies, shock therapy, and involuntary institutionalization.
• We need to have a Nuremberg-style trial for every gender-affirming clinic doctor. We need it immediately."
• Trans identities can be explained by "the autism spectrum" and "puberty anxiety." Also, “Young women have always been more prone to social contagions, and transgenderism is a social contagion.
• "This is what meta is about, the metaverse, kids staring at screens all day long," he continued. "This is where Silicon Valley is going. This is why they're so insistent on this transgender thing, because if you stop being a man then maybe you could stop being a human being." Hear that, people of the metaverse? Your secret urge is to become a rotorooter.
• “Empathy is a made up New Age term that does a lot of damage.”
• Kirk believed in freedom for EVERYONE, For example Taylor Swift is free to submit to her husband. “You’re not in charge.” Kirk said about her.
• “If I see a Black pilot, I’m going to be like, boy, I hope he’s qualified.”
• "It's worth it to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year, so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights. Now, I don't support what happened to Kirk. But Kirk supported what happened to Kirk.
