Brands Hatch 2026: 100 Years of Racing – A century full of power, and we're celebrating it here on our authentic race track covering an area of ​​16 sims.

This year marks 100 years since the first wheels turned in anger at Brands Hatch.
Brands Hatch in Kent, England, began as a 1926 dirt track for motorcycles on farmland, evolving into a premier tarmac racing venue by 1950. Famous for the challenging Paddock Hill Bend, it hosted 12 British Grands Prix (1964–1986), iconic F1 moments, and today serves as a top venue for British Superbikes and Touring Cars under MotorSport Vision.

The 2.433 mi (3.916 km) "Grand Prix" layout we built inworld, this track has played host to several Formula One Grands Prix, including those with moments such as Jo Siffert's duel with Chris Amon in 1968 and 1992 World Driver's Champion Nigel Mansell's first win in 1985.

here's a map of 256 regions 1024x1024 m each terraformed by ai. with the landscaper module it can be done rapidly i made a separate map tile generator that makes 256pixel square tiles rgba 8bit but looking at changing to 16bit and maybe half-res depending on VRAM usage. the 8bit rgba use about 64mb i suppose. switching to 16bit grayscale will go up to 96mb unless i go half-res. tinker time.. :)

I made a lightweight region module that exposes an HTTP endpoint on each region server returning full texture data for any prim by UUID. Returns diffuse, normal, and specular map UUIDs per face as JSON, suitable for consumption by PHP, Python, or any HTTP client.

Does not return PBR textures but that's just a bit of extra work if you want those in the JSON array.

OpenSimulator ActivityPub Bridge - A lightweight, database-driven ActivityPub implementation designed for OpenSimulator grids, with first-class support for system actors, groups, and federated posting without requiring OpenSim C# modules, sidecars, or viewer changes.

This project focuses on simplicity, deployability, and compatibility with existing OpenSim + MariaDB setups. (should also work with MySQL if you run the oracle software)

Tested with Forte v26.2.4, Streams v26.2.10, Hubzilla v11.0 (but should work with any AP capable software like Mastodon, Lemmy, etc)

It will verify RFC 9421 sigs if used by remote, but this software only signs with Cavage / V1 signatures.

At this stage it posts group notifications to the social web. It has the capability to inbox/outbox messages for grid users however not yet implemented until I decide on a intuitive way to do it.

As you walk along the winding paths of Fantasia, the air itself seems to shimmer with quiet enchantment. I’ve done some thinking and thank all the folks who have sent messages of support and/or hopes that Lovely will reopen. Well the good news is it will but I will run one show a week rather than two.
Lovely Pier Club will run on alternate Tuesdays 12-2 with DJ Anaguma spinning his amazing mix of Eurobeat, Happy Hardcore, JPop and Kpop starting on Tuesday 17th Feb.
Lovely Space Club will run on alternate Saturdays from 12 grid with DJ Rosa Alekseev plus others. Most weeks we hope to do double headers so we can play till late. First event will be on Saturday 21st Feb with Rosa plus Zen Rieko doing the late show.
And the quizzes will continue.. …Regular quiz on Tuesday shows at the Pier and new spacey geeky nerdy quizzes at the Space Club Saturday shows

Die EURODANCE Party steigt nun jeden Samstag – aber nicht da, wo ihr sie erwartet! Wir verabschieden uns endgültig von den angestaubten "Party"-Konzepten in OpenSim (OS) und verlegen das Spektakel nach Second Life!

Während die 90% alten Leute in der OpenSim weiterhin ihre abgefuckten "Konzepte" durchkauen können, ziehen wir weiter. Wir haben keine Lust mehr auf Stillstand! Wir machen es jetzt in Second Life – und zwar richtig: virtuell, grenzenlos und mit dem wahren EURODANCE-Feeling!

Seid dabei, wenn wir Second Life wöchentlich zum Beben bringen. Wer den Anschluss nicht verlieren will, kommt rüber!
