For some, it seems to be sometime tougher to be kind behind pixels. Our values and standards should not change, just because there isn't an immediate and apparent accountability to what we do or say. Be kind.
I was just reminded again how much we need to exercise gratitude. Our brain is a predicting machine, always expecting and thinking the worse, it takes us into a horrible spiral. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RKV0BWSPfOw
I don't find it tougher to be kind, even to the odd hater. I just think it's easier to throw stones and hide when you're in pain or you think you got a bad deal in life. My life has been far from perfect, but I learned that being negative just digs your own personal black hole deeper and deeper. Let's hope that a little kindness in the face of anger can make at least some see that their only enemy is their own hate.
Yes indeed, you should share this with some of your residents. If you can't say something nice, you don't need to say anything at all. Live and let live.
