The Balloons of Fleetwood Beach

The Steampunk balloons of Fleetwood Beach offer a special way to explore the region from the air.

Visitors can choose between two different experiences.

There are player-controlled balloons, where you take the pilot’s seat and fly the balloon yourself. You control its altitude, direction and movement. The deliberately slow and slightly delayed handling gives the impression of flying a large, heavy airship rather than a fast vehicle.

If you prefer to relax and simply enjoy the view, you can take the automatic balloon tour instead. The balloon follows a predefined route through Fleetwood Beach, allowing passengers to enjoy a comfortable sightseeing trip without having to control the flight themselves.

This way, every visitor can decide whether they want to be the pilot or simply enjoy the ride as a passenger.

Whether you fly on your own or take the automatic tour, the balloons provide a unique view of the buildings, landscapes and attractions of Fleetwood Beach and are one of the most enjoyable ways to explore the region.

The Fleetwood Beach Monorail

The Fleetwood Beach Monorail is more than just a means of transportation – it is a small attraction in its own right and offers a unique way to explore the region.

The gondola travels automatically along a predefined route through Fleetwood Beach. It follows a series of waypoints and stops at designated stations, where visitors can get on and off.

During the ride, you can enjoy the region from an elevated perspective. Buildings, plazas, technical installations and other areas of Fleetwood Beach can be discovered comfortably from the gondola.

The railway has been designed to match the style of the region, combining the idea of a classic monorail with the mechanical and industrial atmosphere of Fleetwood Beach.

Simply take a seat, enjoy the ride and experience Fleetwood Beach from a different point of view.

Hey everyone!

You will notice our old Joomla website is sometimes on and sometimes off. Here is the deal and some tips.

First off I want to thank fred for all his hard work on dreamgrid.

Some things in the new website require php8, so we have to switch over from php 7 that joomla uses for the new website to fix things and get it going.

Second, I want to thank Gundahar Bravin. He has been amazing with helping us get his epic L.O.R.E plugin for wordpress for maps working. Since website uses HTTPS but a port on dreamgrid uses http that meant we had to figure out a way around it since http to http is preferred. Many thanks to him for helping us with a workaround in his plugin.

With the help of chat GPT I was finally able to get ImageMagick installed and working for wordpress with dreamgrid along with curl and XML-RPC. If you use dreamgrid and your website is via wordpress, you need those 3 things for opensimulator plugin to work.

Apache was having a hard time finding ImageMagick even after i installed the dll, so i had to tell it in the file where the location was and boom, issue solved. Also I had to install a 7.11 version, not 7.12 incase anyone has that same issue.

One thing I noticed is by the next day, the changes i made to php8.ini were reverted back, anyone know why that happened? I was able to simple fix it and its back working.

Thank you to all that have helped me along this process. We will eventually get this new website up, it will just take a little longer then i thought.
