Formed in 1965, Pink Floyd are probably one of the most loved groups of the Psychedelic era. Their 15 studio albums from 'Pipers at the Gates of Dawn' to 'The Endless River' spanned 47 years.

Floyd were renowned for their sonic experimentation, live performances incorporated lavish light shows and quadraphonic speaker systems. Concept works such a 'The Dark Side of the Moon' and 'The Wall' played on repeat on many bed-sit turntables of the 70's booming out the dark themes of alienation, war, insanity and dystopia.

Art surrounded much of Floyds output, cartoon illustrator Gerald Scarfe provided his disturbing ink-splattered caricatures for the rock opera 'The Wall' and their albums most often featured the work of surrealist graphic designer Storm Thorgerson who also produced covers for Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Peter Gabriel, the Alan Parsons Project, Genesis, The Muse, The Cranberries and Biffy Clyro.

Housed in the re-creation of Battersea Power Station on the Art Factory estates, the artwork of Pink Floyd is presented along with 3D recreations. Pink Floyd radio is permanently live when ever you need a sound track to close you eyes to and become comfortably numb. Look out for live shows and events coming soon.

Go with skates and scarf, you can have fun in the snow, it is very big you need time to visit it, there are ski slopes in the mountains, then you can go to the Christmas market, visit the castle and the house of Santa Claus. Working on a whole line of Native Clothing outfits for Men and Woman more traditional spanning 5 different tribes. I only just started but im doing a very large Native build right now and there wasnt much to choose from. hgusss ill put them all out in the WEST STORE as soon as im finished. Another example of how it looks like when one can paint your own texture on SIM ground.Mountains on background are part of the sim, terraformed. the one at bottom, mesh. You don`t even see the difference anymore.

* News from Needful Things *

The renovation is largely complete; only a few buildings aren’t quite finished on the inside yet.

- The police station has been expanded to include a few jail cells as well as a visitor and interrogation room.
- “The Warm Mug” is a new small café in the center of the sim, featuring a few new items to copy
- The pet store has been expanded; the second floor now features aquariums with improved scripts
- The hotel has been enlarged and also includes new items to copy
- The selection at the “Figures” shop has been expanded to include several new mesh people for Sim decoration.

Since some buildings and shops have moved to different locations, you’ll find a note card at the landing point in the “Region Guide” terminal with the current list of buildings.

I've been working on a custom distribution of OpenSim and wanted to share it with the community.

If you run a standalone region, a mini-grid, or a region where the majority of your traffic comes from Hypergrid visitors, or if you spend most of your own time HG traveling, this project might be of interest to you.

Discover Fleetwood Beach by Monorail

The monorail is still used rather rarely by visitors to the sim. Apparently, many people simply do not yet know that there is such a relaxing and comfortable way to explore Fleetwood Beach.

And that is exactly what the monorail is perfect for: during the ride, you can simply sit back, look around, and discover many details that are easy to miss when walking or teleporting from place to place.

Fleetwood Beach has been created with great attention to detail. Along the route, there are many buildings, places, technical constructions, landscaped areas, and small scenes to discover. The combination of steampunk elements, unusual architecture, and the different areas of the sim looks especially interesting from the elevated perspective of the monorail.

To make the monorail easier to find and use, I have now marked the stops much more clearly.

The monorail stops at every marked station and remains there for about 10 seconds. During this time, visitors can simply click on the seat cushion of a free seat and sit down.

After that, all you have to do is sit back and enjoy the ride.

A complete journey takes a little over five minutes. That gives you plenty of time to experience the sim at a relaxed pace, get a good overview, and perhaps discover places that you may want to explore more closely on foot afterwards.

So if you visit Fleetwood Beach, take a few minutes and enjoy a ride on the monorail.
