Isabel Hermano – Artist Biography

A Second Life resident for 20 years, I have exhibited my artwork in numerous galleries over the years.

My artistic journey began with acrylic painting in Real Life. Since 2010, I have increasingly focused on the digital editing of photographs.

At one point, I had more than 60 different photo-editing apps on my phone! Every image featured in this exhibition was created entirely by hand on my mobile device.

The variety of themes and subjects reflects the many Instagram challenges I regularly took part in, each inspiring me to explore new ideas and creative directions.

More recently, I have started incorporating AI into my creative workflow, and I am thoroughly enjoying this new experience.

However, all the artworks presented in this exhibition were created entirely without AI. In today's world, they have almost become little pieces of nostalgia – a reminder of a more hands-on era of digital art.
