Uses of Walls

The Wall of Dolls, an artistic installation in Milan, Italy, is a poignant and sober statement that marks and condemns violence against women. The wall features dolls of various kinds, symbols of childhood innocence, alongside the names of murdered women, as well as photos, posters, and poems, Some of these detail statistics on crimes against women, and some of them powerful statements written by survivors.

In 1998, the United Nations Development Fund for Women organized a photo exhibit that contrasted a "wall of shame", focusing on women's plight and suffering, with a "wall of hope", showcasing initiatives to end violence against women. Enough of walls. I prefer a waterfall -- a symbol of strength, resilience, cleansing, or even tranquility. Peace.

Someone commented on my last post that they had some of my mesh having issues with resizing. I want to always let people know...if you have an issue with the mesh, let me know. In the meantime, I have learned techniques (not mysteries for mesh creators, but I am new at it and slow) that prevent collapse and resizing texture issues. However, those things are always dependent on the piece, the original image that was used, and the texture itself. One of the reasons I include the textures with the pieces under contents is so that people can sharpen them, change the shading, etc. I don't always sharpen my textures. Some of the original images I used are done in styles like impressionistic painters. This make them look differently, but they are consistent upon resizing. The only thing you can't do is re-texture them because they're textured when they are made in Meshy.
