Today is November 1st and in just 10 more days on November 11th, we pay special tribute to our Military Veterans who served this country faithfully and as they say, "All gave some and some gave all". TODAY, November 1st we will be celebrating Álfablót the Nordic celebration that honors the spirits of a family’s ancestors, loved ones who have gone before s in this life, and the family’s ongoing vitality. It's sort of a cross between Halloween and Thanksgiving, and it's celebrated in the homes by the families. This year we're celebrating Álfablót over in Birch Springs which is nestled in the beautiful and peaceful land of Bjrkeya which is governed by the Jarl Thorvaldr Ragnarsson, and his Partner Aelgifu Sveynsdottir.
The festivities begin at 2pm GRID time (That's Pacific time), and Thorvaldr & Aelgifu (Elle to us) will be hosting this event.
Music of the era and some unique music will be provided by DJ Lavia.
Dress: We're partying like it's 999 or maybe 1025, so Medieval, Elf, Viking garb if you have it - if not, hey come as a Dinkie or even just a regular Avatar outfit like jeans and T. However you dress, come and join us!!!

In a mist-shrouded corner of the eerie neighborhood, where the line between the living and the afterlife blurs, a new home emerges next to the infamous Addams Family mansion. This house, a bizarre mix of Victorian architecture and Gothic grandeur, appears almost overnight, much to the curiosity of the Addams clan. Gomez and Morticia, ever intrigued by the unusual, decide to greet their new neighbors.
