The exhibit will open on Sunday, September 29, starting at noon grid time, featuring the vibrant and gorgeous Rogue Galaxy, followed by the beautiful Forest Azure at 1 PM. We had a third performer scheduled, but they can’t make it. If anyone is interested in filling that slot, either as a singer or DJ, please reach out to me.

Also opening is a collaborative exhibit by visual artist Cherry Manga and audio artist Nico Kalani on the Special Projects region, connected to the gallery. You can walk over or take a raft to explore their work.

At Le Beau Retrouvé, one of our goals is to bring the community together to appreciate and create art in Open Sim. We believe in supporting all artists, whether you're well-established or just starting out. Your work will always be handled with respect and displayed to its best advantage.

We encourage everyone to participate in this exhibit and future ones. I can’t wait to see what you’ve created! Thank you for being part of this journey.

Welcome to Pendle Hollow!! This is Harmony speaking! LOL! We were going to open Pendle Hollow with a big birthday bash for Pixey and Harmony's rl birthdays, but Hurricane Milton had other plans! Pixey is in Florida and got through the hurricanes and has power but no internet and they aren't expecting it to be restored for another week or more, so she asked me to go ahead and open the region for al of our open sim friends! I am cleaning up after the storm of building and landscaping and will have this scary, beautiful region opened Friday with a little construction still going on and shops to fill!

Pendle Hollow is a Halloween themed region based on the Pendle Witches (Pixey, Harmony and Macy!) in England in 1612! We don't practice witchcraft and believe that witches are good and loving, at least we are! We will still have our party with DJ Macy spinning some spooky rock, country and other Halloween delights so please watch for our announcement!

I’m often asked, “What happens to the art when it’s taken down to make room for a new exhibition?” My response has always been that select works from each artist are preserved and moved to another gallery space, becoming part of a permanent exhibition that contributes to OpenSim’s evolving history. Up until now, that was only a vision—a future project in my mind.

I’m thrilled to announce that vision has finally come to life with The Archive Collection. While the name may be straightforward, it leaves no mystery about the treasures inside! 😊

I’ve included some photos—one of them shows me standing in front of the building, to give you a sense of its scale. To enhance your visit, I’ve also added a grand piano I uploaded and added a variety of scripted music that you can play by touching the keys while enjoying the art. There’s even a version of the piano with animation options available at my shop.

As we approach September, those of you with art ready for display are welcome to bring it by the gallery anytime. If you’re not already in the group, please let me know so I can add you to the correct role so you can rez.

I’m incredibly excited about this exhibition and, from what I’ve seen so far, it promises to be a feast for all our senses! Looking forward to seeing you soon!

"Obeisance" is a striking sculpture that symbolizes the delicate balance between reverence and connection. The fluid, intertwined forms suggest a deep, almost ritualistic act of respect, as if two entities are bowing to one another in mutual acknowledgment. The bold curves and flowing lines evoke a sense of movement, capturing the essence of a moment frozen in time.

Discover the Chapel of Tranquility: Your Sanctuary Awaits

Step into the Chapel of Tranquility, the perfect addition to your town. From the moment you enter, you’ll feel an immediate sense of peace and calm, enveloped by the sacred atmosphere of this serene space.

Unlike a traditional church, which serves as a gathering place for communal worship, a chapel is designed for personal reflection or small, intimate gatherings. Here, you can worship and reflect on your own terms—no need for a pastor or priest. This space is yours to experience in solitude or with a few close companions.

The chapel features a bell tower that chimes on the hour, adding a touch of timeless grace. You can also touch the bell to hear its resonant tone at any time. The benches offer a variety of animations, with two different poses in each of the four benches.

At the altar, you’ll find scripted animations to enhance your worship experience. The Eucharist plate and goblet are also scripted, allowing you to partake in communion with the Body of Christ (wafer) and the Blood of Christ (wine). Simply add either to immerse yourself in this sacred ritual.

To further enrich your experience, a leather-bound Bible, a Hymnal, and altar candles are included. All of these items are neatly boxed and placed beside the altar for your convenience.

The Chapel itself is available in a box located outside the entrance, and arrows on the street will guide you there. While visiting, take a moment to explore the other architectural wonders in the region—all handcrafted over the years and freely available to help you build your sim.

Avedon Park is happy to announce that (after many noise complaints and much rowdy behavior) The Back Cat Radio Station has been moved to Avedon South! Come by and check out the new radio station and the new Good Sounds Music Park, a music festival ground that would make the folks at Woodstock blush. I am adding scripts to the furniture that will allow you to store your items like clothing, shoes, jewelry and just about anything you want for your role play enjoyment, but you don't have to use this furniture for immersive RP you can use it as a secondary storage for your favorite outfits and other things you need quick access to without searching forever in your inventory for them. This beautiful Pillar House was specially built for a dear friend's region to accommodate a people in her RP story. I am also making it available to others in Open Sim who would like it for their own regions. It features 3 levels, the first level being open for comfy outdoor activities like picnic or just lounging, the 2nd level is nice for living and cooking space and the top floor is for sleeping and bathing. It has a wrap around porch and is constructed of granite in various colors, polished brass and beautiful dark wengwood. Constructed to last many years, theoretically, of course. It can be found in the "Ancient Builds" department at the mall. It is full perm and free and waiting just for you! Blessings and much love, Lavia.

This old farmhouse started with a door. I loved the door texture but noticed it had no knobs, so I crafted cut crystal door knobs. I was so pleased with the result that I built the house around the door. If you’re looking for a home to add to your farm, this might be perfect. The property also includes several outbuildings, a corral, a pumpkin patch, and a charming outhouse.

All the architecture was created for Land Of Xzar and is featured in my build. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. More are on the way!

“I don’t want to leave,” he tried to say, as the beautiful scene slowly faded then disappeared.

Lukas found himself back at the gathering in the temple with the Amaranthine, unaware of the angry crowd around him. He felt the fog descend over his mind once more and it saddened him. Falling to his knees, he looked up into her eyes as she reached down to touch his cheek.

“Always remember, Lukas, you only see what you're looking for. When you want only love, you will see nothing else.”

There are lots of ways to die when exploring there, but all of them are fun. You can get killed by worms, stabbed, and drowned or just walk in still alive if you find the chalk circles to explore the Neitherworld (pictured) . There is a way back to the living world, too. Just stop groveling at the end of the hallway.
