Hi everyone. Generally, I can teleport across the Hypergrid without issues, but a problem has come up: I can't teleport, and I get the error "connection between the viewer and the destination could not be established." I've tried various solutions—reducing bandwidth, texture size, and draw distance, and even installing a VPN (which I don't like)—but none have worked. When I installed the VPN, it let me teleport, but upon arrival, only the ground would load and nothing else. Does anyone have any suggestions? Ty in advantage!

Hey everyone!

You will notice our old Joomla website is sometimes on and sometimes off. Here is the deal and some tips.

First off I want to thank fred for all his hard work on dreamgrid.

Some things in the new website require php8, so we have to switch over from php 7 that joomla uses for the new website to fix things and get it going.

Second, I want to thank Gundahar Bravin. He has been amazing with helping us get his epic L.O.R.E plugin for wordpress for maps working. Since website uses HTTPS but a port on dreamgrid uses http that meant we had to figure out a way around it since http to http is preferred. Many thanks to him for helping us with a workaround in his plugin.

With the help of chat GPT I was finally able to get ImageMagick installed and working for wordpress with dreamgrid along with curl and XML-RPC. If you use dreamgrid and your website is via wordpress, you need those 3 things for opensimulator plugin to work.

Apache was having a hard time finding ImageMagick even after i installed the dll, so i had to tell it in the file where the location was and boom, issue solved. Also I had to install a 7.11 version, not 7.12 incase anyone has that same issue.

One thing I noticed is by the next day, the changes i made to php8.ini were reverted back, anyone know why that happened? I was able to simple fix it and its back working.

Thank you to all that have helped me along this process. We will eventually get this new website up, it will just take a little longer then i thought.

Oh wow, it was such a nice party! Thank you Tommy and Paristella and my italian friends to save that day for me. I was not sure if all people would go to the party that my former DJ needed to organize exactly the same hour.... Loosing a friend is not a happy day, so it was unexpected that i enjoyed the party so much. Forgive me that i fell asleep in the end... not about you, just chronic fatigue. I want to be specific: I have been an artist in RL for decades, i had worked on paper and did collages when nobody knew what computers could do. The only machine i had was a copy machine and it was fun. I had also put my face on it and objects, experimenting a lot. I dont use AI on my artwork these days because i could not do art without it. I am experimenting. I was mixing RL artwork and virtual photography (exposed them in a gallery in RL), now adding AI to it and using different prompts and filters and exploring programs and having so much fun. Any artist can choose his tools, that is perfectly ok for me and i would visit an exhibition for other aspects than what tools are used to express the content, does this person have someting to tell me? (btw. i like to use the french word expo - exposition because what ideas people have in that expression is what i imagine in the english expression. not going into details. lol)

As far as I can see, we have around 20 clubs to present, and pictures will follow. I’m still deciding whether to use AI-enhanced images or keep things more natural. What would you prefer?

When it comes to residents, though, managing them can be quite a lot of work for a grid owner. I love building, but I’m definitely not a natural-born manager, and time is always the limiting factor. My priority is creating, not managing residents.

On OSGrid, people already have their accounts, and I had originally planned to build something on Tartaria. But lately, OSGrid seems to be getting pretty laggy again, so I decided to rez the new regions on my own grid side instead. I didn’t want a repeat of what happened with my Big Cozy Region when OSGrid went down.

That’s also why the new regions **Michaela** and **Village of Art** stayed on my grid. Apparently, this also led to me being blocked from advertising on OSGrid, without any discussion. Maybe OSGrid isn’t too happy when people add value outside their grid, or maybe someone put pressure on them. Who knows. 🤷‍♀️

In the end, I think the virtual world can be a pretty crazy place sometimes. 😂 But I still love creating, and I’m not going to stop just because things get complicated. Maybe I’ll eventually find a more peaceful world… another planet, perhaps. Or at least a better galaxy. 😄🌌

And yes, sometimes accounts are given to friends. But experience has taught me that good friends aren’t always that easy to find in a virtual world. 😉

### Elven Princess of Whispering Willows

Seraphina Roseblossom was born beneath the ancient willows of Whispering Willows, on a night when thousands of tiny white blossoms opened along the riverbanks long before their season.

The elves took it as a blessing.

From childhood, Seraphina was unlike the princesses remembered in old songs. She cared little for ceremony or being treated as someone above others. She was far more likely to be found barefoot beside a stream, helping an injured animal, carrying baskets through the village, or sitting quietly with someone who simply needed not to be alone.

Her greatest gift was never magic.

It was her ability to understand.

Seraphina notices the things others overlook: the trembling hands of someone pretending not to be frightened, the loneliness hidden beneath anger, the exhausted farmer who insists he needs no help, or the stranger standing at the edge of a celebration unsure whether they are welcome.

And somehow, she always seems to know when kindness is needed most.

Yet Seraphina is not naïve. She knows that gentle hearts can be wounded and that kindness should never be mistaken for weakness. She will forgive mistakes freely when remorse is sincere, but she will stand fiercely between the vulnerable and anyone who would deliberately harm them.

The people of Whispering Willows often say that Seraphina inherited the heart of the land itself.

Perhaps there is some truth to it.

Flowers have an unusual habit of blooming along paths she frequently walks. Wild creatures rarely flee from her. Even the ancient willow trees seem to stir when she passes beneath their branches, though there may be no wind at all.

Seraphina believes every creature and every people of Whispering Willows has a place in its story. Elves, fairies, hobbits, gnomes, humans, unicorns, and even those whom others might fear are not measured by what they are, but by what they choose to become.

That belief has made her beloved throughout the realm.

She does not dream of conquest or magnificent courts.

Her hope is much simpler.

That no one who enters Whispering Willows should feel forgotten.

And should the day ever come when darkness threatens her home, those who know Seraphina understand one thing very well:

The princess who offers her hand so easily in friendship will close that same hand around a sword without hesitation to protect those she loves.

For that is the heart of Seraphina Roseblossom.

Not a princess because she wears gold.

A princess because Whispering Willows has given her its heart, and she has given hers in return.
