Die Kosmische Odyssee von Gong

Die Geschichte von Gong ist keine gewöhnliche Bandbiografie. Sie ist eine kosmische Erzählung, die aus Zufall, politischem Exil und einer unbändigen kreativen Vision geboren wurde. Im Zentrum dieser Saga steht der australische Musiker Daevid Allen, dessen unfreiwilliger Aufenthalt in Frankreich 1967 den Grundstein für eine der eigenwilligsten und einflussreichsten Bands der Progressive- und Space-Rock-Geschichte legte. Nachdem ihm wegen eines abgelaufenen Visums die Wiedereinreise nach Großbritannien verwehrt wurde, endete seine Zeit bei der richtungsweisenden Canterbury-Band Soft Machine abrupt. Doch dieser Schicksalsschlag erwies sich als schöpferischer Katalysator. Gestrandet in Paris, einer Stadt, die in den späten 60er Jahren von künstlerischer und politischer Gärung brodelte, fand Allen den perfekten Nährboden für seine unkonventionellen Ideen.

Preston makes the check out for $1 million and goes on a spending spree he'll never forget. Maybe now, his family will take him seriously!

He later enters Sugar Rush, a kart racing game set on tracks made of candies, cookies and other sweets. There, Ralph meets Vanellope von Schweetz who has learned that her game is faced with a dire threat that could affect the entire arcade, and one that Ralph may have inadvertently started.
