So about all this theft of stolen goods ... I have rebuilt regions from my saved oars, and in the process inadvertently losing the original creator (uploader ... thief? ) information, so now my name appears as creator. My stuff is mostly free to copy but I don't run a store or offer support. I don't even remember where in the hypergrid most of it came from. While I apologize to those who did the hard work ripping and fixing , at the same time I am grateful to be able to tweak and modify, share and transfer to my hearts content. This is why i am in opensim.

So what - I.m not losing sales by being ripped, nor is anyone making money in here with my stolen creations. A curious message landed in my inbox today, bringing to light a common frustration within the virtual world: someone had picked up a Xara body on a specific grid and was stumped by its "Auto Alpha" feature. My immediate thought was, "Well, you should really go back to the grid where you acquired it and ask them for assistance." And if they can't provide the answers, it truly highlights a significant issue: why are entities distributing freebies of products they clearly don't understand or support themselves? This ongoing problem underscores precisely why, if you're genuinely seeking a LaraX or Xara body, it's always best to come directly to the source. Let's be clear: Vesti is the original creator of the Xara body, and any other versions or distributions you encounter are, frankly, the work of thieves. Ultimately, for genuine support, authentic products, and the true understanding of features like "Auto Alpha," trusting the original maker is paramount, as all other offerings are merely unauthorized imitations.

The novel centers on Jackson Oz, an outcast among professional and academic ecologists and biologists. Oz has tried for years to get other scientists to listen to the data he has collected on the increasing number of mammal attacks on humans. He becomes so obsessed with this goal that he quits graduate school and devotes himself to full-time data collection and arguing his case. Finally, on a trip to Botswana, he survives an attack by a large band of male lions in which about 100 people are killed over a large area. He saves the life of ecologist Chloe Tousignant. Upon returning to America, he finds his girlfriend dead in his apartment, killed and partly eaten by his pet chimpanzee.
Five years later, Oz has married Chloe and they have a son named Eli. His theory becomes accepted, as all over the world, packs of animals are entering densely populated cities and killing humans en masse. He is recruited by the US president to research the cause, but before he and his team of scientists can find an answer, the president's daughter is killed by their dog, and the military launches strikes against affected cities, which worsens the attacks. Continuing his research, Oz discovers that animal pheromones have changed due to the widespread use of radio communication (cell phones) and petroleum products (notably automobile exhaust), and these disrupted pheromones are enlarging the animals' amygdalas and causing the aggression. The US president orders all electricity, cellphone, and automobile usage banned for two weeks, and animal attacks cease nearly immediately as the ban takes effect. But after one week, people return to their previous habits, and the attacks restart with increased ferocity. Oz, his wife and son, along with some scientists and political leaders, are evacuated to Thule, Greenland, where research into how to reverse the changes will take place.

Approaching alpha. As that point draws closer, my work starts on promotional graphics and the visual design of the game. I came to Opensim from SL years ago to have the opportunity to work on a larger canvas and push the boundaries. Now I will have the largest canvas imaginable and I'm excited.
The developer and I met several years ago here on Opensim and collaborated on several fun projects, becoming fast friends. We developed the expanded concept for Starlite here, hoping to create and streamline a fork of OS code to fit our vision, but that was not possible. With the exception of the Vulkan renderer, everything else for Starlite was written from scratch.

We've realized the swimming orbs often reset to private once the grid gets a restart.
Apologies for this inconvenience and we are working on resetting to public where the orbs are located, the ones at Paradise are reset at the main beach!
