The “Nürburgring with the Nordschleife”, also known as the “Green Hell”.
Rebuilt on a VAR 12 x 12 for a real racing feeling.
Racing cars and racing bikes as well as matching outfits are available in the pit lane near the start and finish.
You can also race your own car or bike if it is suitable for “bullet physics”.
There is also a lot to see outside the race track that is also available on the original race track.
Paddock, Rock am Ring, Camping am Ring and much more.
The track at the F1-Ring has a real length of 5.2 km and the Nordschleife 20.8 km.
Races have been held there since the beginning of the 19th century.
In 1951, the Nürburgring was one of the first race tracks in the world to be converted for F1.

So I got a time to think and I decided the Club needed another name, another identity. Then we migrated to ZetaWorlds and the new Club is called Velvet Paradise. And we will open soon. I'm taking care of the last preparations.

After the OSGrid shenanigans, I decided that since I'd lost the majority of my stuff, I'd try and setup my own (very small) grid.
Mostly it's working except from the Unable to verify identity on several grids. (Not all, just some)
I've seen several interweb posts about it, but so far nothing that hints at a fix.
It seems to be the [REMOTE SIMULATION CONNECTOR] timing out after 10 seconds on my port 8002, other than that, there's no other log information I can see.

I've got this running on a home network on a linux VM on a proxmox box, all necessary ports are open and accessible from outside. I've tried to TP into my grid, from another avatar on another grid and it all looks OK, so I'm kind of stuck.
The only thing I can think of is the rather crappy SKY MAX router that only allows you to open ports etc via a crappy app rather than from the command line like normal people want to do it.

Oh, I did run it via a 'free Dyn DNS service, but shelled out for a 'real' domain in the hope that was the issue (But it doesn't seem to be...)
I *could* try it from the Digital Ocean droplet I was using on OSGrid, but I'd have to beef it up a bit and I don't really want to 'cos I'm tight :)

Let me tell you it was quite a surprise. Nice to see my work out in the world! :) But more than that, Chelsea has decorated this place with incredible attention to detail. It reminded me of my time in the Louisiana Bayou's. I mean you MUST go see this place to appreciate it. Words and pictures are simply not enough. The experience of it is sublime. We need more builders and decorators like this. Chelsea truly has a gift and it is absolutely amazing. Please do yourself a favor and go visit as soon as you can! :)

Just a quick post for anyone from OSGrid who has rented a house anywhere on Sub-Version Space grid.

Until OSGrid is back up and running and for some time afterward, you will not be evicted from your rentals if they expire - and I will actively be adding max weeks to rentals from OSGrid avatars.

If you've put any boxes of items from your inventory in your houses in Sub-Version grid - they are safe here (failing anything happening to my grid ofc, although I do take regular backups).

I've noticed a fair number of rentals from OSGrid on my grid and when I have noticed - I have set them back to 8 weeks so just wanted to assure anyone affected that it is NOT my intention to remove you when your rental expires - I know you can't get in at the moment to renew it!
