AnatoBotanica is the name of the current sculpture collection I am doing IRL under MVN name, my initials.


Inspired by the connection (and the lack of connection) of human being in its environment, the nature.
Made of organic shapes, hybrid creatures comes to life with the use of moss and a lot of gold paint on PLA which is a bioplastic, sometimes clay and paper are added for the finest parts.

To introduce this new art form I am experiencing in opensim, I chose to show a glitched version of the real space I work from, my home.

My home is my shelter, but also my workshop.
The stones of the walls, the plants and animals living in the garden, are themselves an inspiration. Observing birds, bees and butterfly, listening to their songs, watching these creatures feeding from flowers, those simple « little things of life » are deeply touching my soul and question my own place in this world.

I apologize if it seems I am spamming you guys, but this creator adsky_pes at Sketchfab caused it by creating this Phenomenal Victorian Pocket watch that I have animated to open and close and it is on a chain that you hold. The underwater world at friends -grid has been under construction...and will be built in 3-4 separate phases. Phase 1 (the coral reef) is now open and ready for visitors. This is my attempt to share what I have seen in my travels.

It is hard to describe being in the middle of 100,000 fish and bright corals.....but I hope this will help you experience a special part of my life. Phase 2 will be mermaid area........but.....keep in mind...mermaids can swim anywhere and enjoy the reef.

The reef includes two ship wrecks, two massive groupings of Pillar corals that you can walk through (yes....I have been in coral like these that was 75’ tall). Also on the reef: Sharks, rays, turtle, hermit crabs, jelly fish and approximately 50 different types of coral. Serina provided some custom made corals for this project which was a huge help! There is a lot to see.....take your time and enjoy!

You may want to delete the NPC notecards that come with dance machines and PMAC furniture and replace them with your own. There are several reasons to do this. One is originality. Another is having NPCs that fit the theme of your build. Thanks to Spax Orion for this script.

Wow... this project started in late 2020 and it still is not quite finished. Most of the rides are fully working now and many of the attractions need some polish. Winter Solstice Blessings to you. Since most of you will be traveling and enjoying RL gatherings I have decided to open the Christmas Advent Calendar's days that are remaining so that you can receive all gifts now by clicking on the dates on the calendar, best wishes to you, and keep warm.

I have a suggestion for OpenSimWorld which will also involve the beacon, namely to sort avatars on sims into three categories.


One, staff and residents. These are the avatars that represent the sim owners, residents on homesteads and everyone else who lives and/or works on a sim. Their UUIDs have to be listed on a notecard. The UUID of the owner of the beacon should automatically count as staff.

Staff and residents should count as activity so that you know that someone is on the sim, but not influence the popularity.


Two, bots and decorational avatars. These are the avatars that are mere decoration and that serve similar purposes as NPCs, but that aren't NPCs for whichever reasons. Their UUIDs have to be listed on a separate notecard.

Bots and decorational avatars should be treated the same as NPCs. They should neither count as activity nor influence the popularity. (Downside, admittedly: They could be used as flies on the wall to monitor sims.)


Three, visitors. These are the avatars that aren't on any notecard.

Only they will influence the popularity.


This will require new beacons. But this could be done in such a way that OSW will treat all avatars detected by old beacons like staff and residents. Activity will be shown, but it won't have any impact on your sim's popularity unless you replace your beacon. You want your popularity ranked, then get a new beacon. You can't be bothered to replace your beacon, then say buh-bye to your popularity.

The sim entries on OSW would require another change: The avatars graph would have to be split into two colours, one for staff and residents, one for visitors. This would show if staff is present (not whether it's AFK, though) if a sim isn't a homestead, and it'd also show whether staff and residents are correctly listed as such.

In order to enforce the correct use of the new beacon, each sim that's caught not listing staff, residents or bots as such will have its visitor count set to Inaccurate until it has proven to have fixed the issue.

Sometimes a few greifers come to your sim and they use a trick to crash your sim or create lag. They do it by wearing a device which runs many scripts, and each script is created to do intense math calculations which take a lot of cpu time.
Wouldn't it be great if you had x-ray vision and could see who these people are? Now you can. Just wear my "person lag detector" and it will show you how many scripts a person has running, how much memory their scripts are using on your sim (some are designed to eat up all your sims memory), and how much time they are using of your cpu (some are designed to use up all your cpu with calculations). Get it free, now at Wizardry! :) All you do is attach the device to hud center or center2.
