Rumor has it that Aether is having a Heavy Metal Ballet Dance event, 9 Apr 15:00 SLT. I say, never believe a rumor unless you are the one starting it. Well, I believe this one.

The event features Heavy Metal music, of course, a multitude of various dance huds, including ballet, of course, and, of course, a dance machine. Way way off course is the unique airborne. rotating, shade-shifting synchronized dance cube. Arie Tenku, region owner and event host, calls it "Line Dancing to the 3rd Power." Hell, you never know what you are going to find on the CopyKat Grid.

The central spot for the sim environment of interstellART_exhibitions, introduces sometimes collaborative projects of independent artists on the basis of a specific topic and serves sometimes as a creative area for the sim-variations of Asmita Duranjaya.
In the moment the sim basis shows on its 9 regions the exhibition "MnemoScapes - Forget Me Not".
Asmita explains: "MnemoScapes try to visualize parts of my composite personality, with memories of the past mixed with imaginations and reflections. It is ME, what you see there on each of the 9 regions: DigiScape, LonerScape, CityScape, PalmScape, DesertScape, WinterScape, FractalScape, ForestScape and the CentralScape with my musical background related to Early Music of the Renaissance and the Middles Ages. In correspondence to my own 3D-installations I found a similar intention in the work of 8 other female artists, who work in 2D. They are presented with a link to infos about the person and 3 examples of their work on an easel-display in the CenterScape." There is a hud available with elaborated information on each of the 9 Scapes and with a tp to every region of interstellART_exhibitions plus interStellART. In a sky-globe there are more exhibitions of 7 active artists in OS-Grid: Caro Fayray, Shenn Tao, Victoria Logan, Cherry Manga, Azi Az, Sujeewa Kumari, lalie Sorbet. All those areas are accessible with the hud.

Recently I have been contemplating the current issues facing the world and the terrible Burdens that so many are carrying. It made me think on my favourite character in Lord of the Rings, Samwise Gamgee. A humble hobbit with a heart to serve those he cared most about. A heart brave enough to follow his friend into what could be considered hell. Sam had made a promise to Gandalf that he would not lose Frodo and he intended to keep to that. The image above is what i have been contemplating for todays world, that Sam could not carry Frodo's burden of the ring but he could carry Frodo. How can this scene apply to us? What can we do? In what way can we respond to the burdens of the world.

There are so many burdens and we cant possibly carry them all or we will break. I feel the answer to this question is to "Pick a burden today that we feel we can help another carry!" It can be a small burden or deed that you choose but help someone carry it. Come alongside someone who is in need, spend time chatting to someone who is lonely, donate to a cause you feel for. We can also do things for others in world, help someone with a project, say something nice about their builds, be excited for what they have created. Also reach out to someone whom you have a grievance with and take responsibility for your part in it. Connect with those outside your social circle, get out of our echo chambers and listen to what others have got to say. We cant control what others do but we can sure as heck control ourselves and our responses to others.

I share the sentiment towards the people of Ukraine, I also became sad with the people of Iraq, or Libya, Yemen, Somalia or Pakistan. But I didn't see flags of those countries when the U.S. invaded them. It is curious to see how it is OCCUPATION when the US invades a country, but when another world power occupies a country it is called INVASION. We should put politics aside and think only about the suffering of those countries that are illegally occupied by others.

How many of you have wanted to install Marvelous Designer only to find how expensive it is? Me too, I had it at one time and loved it. Close to both Tokyo and Mount Fuji the small town of Hakone holds something of a revelation. However, unless you are from Japan, you may well not have heard of it. The town plays host to a large open air museum where the works of many famous artists are held - outdoors. It balances art and nature in harmony. The artworks, combined with the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains give the visitor an unforgettable experience. Now recreated in OpenSim for all those missing travelling in Real Life.

Looking for something new and unique to do? Come to Phantom Rose Grid's Nature Region and do some rock climbing! Lannorra has hand made all the rock climbing poses and set up a dual course near Olympia Falls. The side by side climbs let you race a friend to the top! The view once you get there is spectacular and you can follow the stairs up to the free hang glider, to float your way back down. Upon landing at Phantom Rose Nature Region, make sure you get a trail map pamphlet and region guide from the kiosk. Follow the yellow trail thru the campground and pick up the Lake trail going past the falls on your right. The rock climbing area is on the side of the mountain. Take some pictures of your climb and drop on Lannorra Sion, and she will post one to the Champion board! Fairy of the Glen is available in the fantasy section of the shop. They are animesh with 5 styles to choose from.

Scripts are thanks to Arcadia Shop. Directions on activation are included in the box

The fairies float and fly around fluttering their wings. The animations are in a different order for each fairy in order to avoid synching if you put out more than one.

They add a little action wherever they are.
