I would like to wish you all a very safe and happy 4th of July. I am going to be leaving open sim for a bit as my creativity has moved into a new direction. for many years in SL, I was a builder , a dj, a club owner, did tribute bands as well , and here in open sim I did some DJ ing here and there, and some rework projects and scripting of cars. How sad has it become if a closed grid starts making avatars on other (our) grids, and contact renters on our grid to come there.
You really have to make it like that?

Unfortunately renters of our grid were contacted and were promised free land if they would join.
sure, free land is nice but if you have a pay system and the coins are expensive ...lol

I have updated(up-cycled) the bonfire to align with the sun and moon positions for systems with a day–night cycle. During daylight, the flames will extinguish, and at night the fire will reignite with a dynamic flickering light effect, and it is available in my shop.

Recommended accessories include campfire Sounds (featuring immersive pops and crackles) and a smoke effect, which can be added using a smoke particle emitter placed beneath the bonfire for enhanced atmosphere.

POACHING AS CARE.

Sometimes it seems like poaching players is about competition and the fight for an audience, if you view each player as a moneymaker, but you can look at it from a different perspective and see it as genuine care and a desire to unlock someone's potential. When someone invites players to join them, they truly notice them: they see that they have great ideas, that they want to create, and they try to create space for that. There's even something touching about this: after all, a person doesn't just sit in their region and count souls, but seeks out those who will be interesting and wants them to feel better.
It's great that there are so many different regions in the virtual world—players have a lot to choose from, and each corner strives to showcase its uniqueness. Some invite you because they believe that this is where people can discover new ways. We all have different tastes, and that's wonderful—some prefer peace and quiet, while others prefer vibrant projects and constant events. Diversity makes our world richer, and finding "your place" is an exciting adventure.
After all, the most valuable thing in virtual worlds isn't the land or the buildings, but the people who bring them to life. Let there be more spaces where players are seen, appreciated, and supported, and more stories where a simple invitation becomes the beginning of something truly amazing. Let everyone find a place where their ideas are warmly welcomed, and where they find people nearby with whom they want to create something amazing. If you're being lured away, go away—don't be afraid or ashamed. Perhaps for some of you, this will be a chance for a happy virtual life. After all, you can always go back if you don't like something. And don't let someone else dictate your opinion.
