This site is monetized. People buy coins to post on the mainpage using RL money. People can choose to do paid ads to showcase their regions and content. People also pay for premium memberships to have extra features. But the moderation is next to nil. Yes, a recent troll was FINALLY removed after DAYS of toxic barrage. But it took way too long. And while the account was removed, the box was not cleared of their comments.

Yes we can block people. But since griefers and trolls make countless alts it's a constant issue. If you're making money off a site, it needs to be moderated. The site owner and manager needs to try to ensure that users have a good or bare minimum usable experience.

And while I recognize that one person may not be able to manage it all, there's been no effort to recruit other moderators. And I do think any potential new moderators should be paid for their time and effort. After all, the site makes money off the many users who pay into it.

It's feeling pretty frustrating and futile right now. This can be a great tool to connect with other OpenSim folks. And it's a great way to see what people are building and find new regions. For the folks who like parties, they can see events. But yeah it's been more irritation than joy lately.

The Closet.
This amazing new product lets you drop in an item of clothing, and a picture of that clothing (or shoes, or hair) and click through the items in your closet. Then you can choose to have the item GIVEn to you, or to AUTOMATICALLY WEAR the item. Note: Please use copy items. If you find any bugs, please contact me and let me know. I have often considered my underwater worlds
to be my best build ever. It took 6 months to find things, build
destroy, build, adjust and redo. Much of the time was spent searching.

My latest memorial is a very very special one. It is a memorial for my mother, a victim of cancer at the age of 50. She taught me so much of how to be a decent human being and to respect others. It took a woman like her to raise a kid like me and I'm grateful to God that she was my mother. She wasn't perfect by a long shot, but she was the perfect mom for me. So I wanted to have a memorial for her in the Park for Mother's day. Teleporting Issues?

I just became aware of a major flaw with firestorm and the solution that is on the Firestorm download page. I have been unable to TP unless I relog for last 3 days. After much research I realized this was a Firestorm SLURL issue.

Go to the firestorm download page and you will see the above information.

I have not changed my viewer settings or added any new viewers; but it appears some upgrade (probably windows) caused the SLURL function in Firestorm to no longer work properly.

As I follow up....I am teleporting perfectly now after installing this.

What is this ?
SLURL Proxy is an application that will handle SLURLs on your Windows system. Clicking a SLURL on the web,
will open SLURL proxy, which will forward the SLURL to the viewer you have chosen.

Why is that interesting ?
Various Second Life viewers you might, or may already have installed, modify the way SLURLs are handled on your system,
and often cause problems when you uninstall certain viewers.

SLURL Proxy provides a user friendly way to correct this.

Upon start up, SLURL Proxy will check to see if it's the default SLURL handler.
If it is not, it will inform you about that, and ask you if you'd like to use SLURL Proxy as default instead.

When you have set SLURL Proxy as default,(or even before that) you can simply drag one or more viewer shortcuts onto the application window,
and they should be listed with viewer name, and icon.

SLURL Proxy allows you to add several viewers, and one always needs to be the default viewer to use.
The default viewer is the one where the checkbox is checked.
If you would like to change the default viewer, simply click the viewer of your choice in the list.

That's it.

If you wish to set a viewer as default SLURL handler instead of SLURL proxy, then you simply need to click
Set other SLURL handler in the menu, and drag the shortcut of your favourite viewer onto the window.

Requires .NET 3.5 and only runs on Windows

In the past, as I guess many others in OS too, we had to have a 'paging' system for rentals, get involve in each transaction, assign permissions... it was an administrative nightmare.
Now we can manage almost 300 parcel rentals (both free and paid) spread across 8 regions (and planning on another 72!) SEAMLESSLY!

Hey everyone, in just a few days I will be on vacation. May 17-26th, I am going where there are sunny skies and palm trees.

Your IP Address is recorded every time you visit any sim in the robust log. This means you cannot go to ANY sim without your IP being recorded. All I have to do to see anybody's IP is go to my robust file, and search on part of their name. This pulls up their name, ip address, cmac, and key. So if you are paranoid or don't your information out there, then don't come to the metaverse. First of all the way ip addresses work, your IP address MUST be told to the server you are visiting so it knows WHERE to send visual data back to so that you can see it. In fact, this is how the entire internet works. So get a grip.

The Land Rental System. This amazing system is available on Valands in osgrid. It's a work of art in scripting and she has done an amazing job of creating this, if you are in the business of renting land you should check it out and stop by val lands and get a copy. Really awesome work!

What is orb? Orb is a webtop operating system. This means, it's like having a working windows desktop computer, but in a browser window. WHY DOES IT MATTER? Well, imagine your avatar has a tablet in their hand, or cell phone, or a laptop. Now imagine your avatar can zoom in on the screen AND RUN REAL WORLD APPS and save data. Example: Your avatar could have a tablet in their hand that is running firestorm they are using to control another avatar. o.O You get it? Not only that, but this webtop computer is super fast and super responsive (no lag or delay at all). All you do is go here: https://gitlab.com/hsleisink/orb and download the latest release of orb to your linux machine, then gunzip it, then tar -xf. Then take the folder structure to your webroot. THIS WILL GIVE EVERY USER ON YOUR GRID THE ABILITY TO HAVE INWORLD WORKING DEVICES. Many users can set up free accounts. What's more is that letters they type and so on will be saved in their instance protected by their user name and password. :) Pretty cool huhhh? Okay, this one goes out to @sodasullivan who keeps moaning about me only bringing alcohol. So some Hazelnut Coffee it is...and a 'Hidden' wine cellar.
Both items dispense drinks with hold/drink animations: Cellar 2 different ones.
Cellar frame is scripted so it moves and hides the drinks! Pourover dripping is scripted too.
All include bumpiness and shine layers and values.

HOW TO USE THE MAINFRAME.
Download the free program wc3270 for windows. Install it. Set up a connection to cyberdatastorm.com:3270. Your logon ID & PASSWORD will be USER100 & PIZZA OR USER101 & TACOS . You will have access too JCL, COBOL, ASSEMBLY, C++, REXX, and will be able to use the SYSDUMPs. You will be on sysplex1 with full access to 3380, 3390, and 3350 DASD. You will also have access to IBM 3420 TAPE Unit. You can explore what a mainframe operating system is like and how it is different from personal computers. Obviously you will not have access to TOP SECRET or RACF. I often say that anyone can learn PC stuff (personal computers) like Linux, Windows, or Apple OSX by reading just 1 thick 2000 page book. But for the mainframe you need to read about 200-300 of those thick 2000 page books. It is way more complicated. There are 5 mainframe operating systems: IBM Unix called AIX, IBM vm/cms, IBM os/400, Digital Equipment Corp VMS, and the Zos family. This mainframe you are logging into is in the Zos family. It does support full ISPF/TSO and CDC's (cataloged datasets). You will not have access to easytrieve, expediter, endeavour, and CICS.
