Diese Szenerie könnte unzählige Momente in der Karriere von David Bowie einleiten, einem Künstler, dessen Essenz die ständige Transformation war. Doch jener Abend des 3. Juli 1973 im Hammersmith Odeon, London, brannte sich ins kollektive Gedächtnis ein. Mit funkelndem Outfit betritt Bowie als sein Alter Ego Ziggy Stardust die Bühne und verkündet mit einem Hauch von Dramatik: „This is not only the last show of the tour, but it’s the last show that we’ll ever do.“ Die Spiders from Mars legen langsam ihre Instrumente nieder. Die Zeit scheint stillzustehen. Es ist der inszenierte Tod einer Kunstfigur, ein Schockmoment für die Fans, aber für Bowie nur ein weiterer Wendepunkt. Dieser Abschied von Ziggy Stardust markierte nicht das Ende, sondern vielmehr die Blaupause für eine Karriere, die von radikaler Neuerfindung, künstlerischer Risikobereitschaft und genreübergreifender Brillanz geprägt war – der stetige Wandel als Konstante einer Legende.

I’ve added a new memorial at Spirit of Dreams to honor my mother, who recently passed. She was a woman of great faith, deep love, and beautiful creativity—and I wanted a space where her memory could live on within the peaceful forest and flowing waters of this sacred sim.

One of the most magical touches: Fred helped bring the memorial to life with a breathtaking moment—a spirit horse leaping gracefully through the DreamCatcher. It’s a powerful, symbolic gesture that reflects transition, strength, and the journey onward. A blessing of True Love.

If you visit Spirit of Dreams, you’re welcome to pause at her stone, rest by the fire, or simply stand beneath the trees and reflect. She would’ve loved the beauty and serenity here… and I feel her presence in every breeze. I love you Fred, thank you for your "genuine" caring.
