NewLifeItaly: the new official website is now online!

We are happy to announce that the new official NewLifeItaly website is now online:

The portal has been completely redesigned to offer the community a more modern, organized and complete experience.

Users can now register directly from the website, confirm their email, create their grid avatar, access their personal profile, update profile photo, cover image and personal information, manage friends and follow community activity.

We have also introduced a new internal social area where users can publish posts, images, comments, reactions and stay updated on what is happening in the grid.

A new Events section is also available. Users with an assigned land can submit events, while staff members can moderate and approve them. Each event includes image, date, real-world time, grid time, location, teleport and participant list.

The new website includes:

Modern landing page with image or video support
Global automatic translator for the whole portal
Grid Status page with grid statistics
Grid map
Complete user profiles
Internal social community
Event system with participation tracking
Land management for authorized users
Improved registration security
Updated privacy, cookie and terms pages

Users with an assigned land can manage it directly from the portal, check its status, start it, stop it, restart it and know when it is ready to enter again.

The project was developed and refined by Hexivia, giving NewLifeItaly a more professional, elegant and community-focused web presence.

I recently did a deep dive into what one might find in an Irish Petrol station. Because even though I lived in Ireland for the better part of a year in my 20s, I didn't drive there at all so I kind of assumed their gas stations were similar to ours. In Canada (and I will extend this to say probably in the USA too because we are quite similar in many ways) it's considered high risk behaviour to eat food you buy from a gas station. But when I looked up food at a petrol station in Ireland, they're rather high end with lovely hot food counters that won't give you intenstinal distress. People go there instead of fast food places for the quality. Remarkable. One of the things that kept coming up as a delicacy really is the Chicken Fillet Roll so I had to make that. And potato wedges of course. The rest are Sketchfab finds of things I saw commonly listed. Coffee fixings, soft drink stuff and slushies as well as a whole Tayto Crisps rack are also in there. And EV Recharge stations are becoming more and more prevalent in Northern Ireland especially so I took a crack at making one of those across from the regular Maxol Petrol station. I'm not quite ready to make the regular station free to copy yet as it still needs some tweaks but you can get the framework for the EV station which can then be easily unbranded. The EV chargers, fences and solar panels are separate pieces to the framework build so be mindful of that.

At the wave of Dirty Helga's wand, 'The Lamenticon' has emerged; an outdoor theater showing 'LeMIZ' with a Dismayland twist... In the world of Pandora, Eywa represents the spiritual connection between all living things.

This Tree of Souls was custom created for me by Lyric Alexander in 2009. It was never released or distributed — it has always been part of my original build. I remember asking Lyric if she could create it—she told me at the time how difficult it would be, but she was willing to try. She went on to bring it to life, along with the Helicoradian (accordion) plants used throughout the region. Thank you Lyric, and all the creators who worked on this project. You will find a note about it at landing.

More than a tree, it reflects living energy… a place to pause, reflect, and connect.

Blue Moon was originally built in Virtual Highway Grid (2009). I later purchased the OAR after Tiffany Magic passed, I miss her. I rebuilt Iknimaya on my own grid using my original OAR and maintain a record of all original creators involved.

Election season is near and Miser wants to take control of the Greedy Creek swamp in order to get one over on Ms Chopsy! If only he could convince everyone that Helga is nothing more than a silly old hag who's lost her mind. Unbeknownst to Miser but known to us: Helga is 'The Architect' :: behind the scenes all along, it has been HER who has been pulling the strings and spinning the tides of Chaos! Don't bother voting, the machines were already rigged. Who won the election? YOU DID by taking a mild peek at this element of the absurd! Peace & Love!

Schade das viele hier das nicht wahrhaben wollen und glauben man kann sich in virtuellen Welten diesen Wahnsinn entziehen. Glaubt, was ihr wollt, aber lasst mich hier meine Überzeugung und auch meine Meinung kundzutun. Man muss mich nicht lesen, wenn man nicht will.
