Then Boo started another beat.
Jimi found another riff.

Das Tier hit a drum fill that had no business being that dramatic.
NOIR played something mysterious.
And suddenly...

...there was another song.

Maybe we're making songs because silence keeps losing the argument.

Maybe because every strange idea deserves a soundtrack.

Maybe because somewhere out there, one listener needs exactly that ridiculous groove at exactly the right moment.

Or maybe we're just completely unable to stop.

The algorithms don't know.
The spreadsheets don't know.
Even we don't know.

But creativity often comes from showing up again and again, not from waiting for inspiration. Many musicians describe the process itself as the reward, regardless of trends or metrics.

So the answer is:

WHY ARE WE STILL MAKING SONGS?!

Because Boo still has batteries.

Update on Ensemble Progress

I've put together some images and details of the current state of "Ensemble".

Shortly I will be uploading files to the scripts library here - but due to the integration between HUD and website - the HUD will only work reliable (for long) with self hosted PHP as once my PHP changes a new HUD will be needed to talk to it. Please therefore treat any scripts on the script library as a "complete snapshot".
