Ozone System Standards— A Clarification Nobody Asked For But Everyone Needed

Dismayland used to enforce a SYSTEM AVATAR requirement. We lifted it. Adult avatars which meet the SYSTEM requirement pass without any problem. Height complaints are coming in and Dirty Helga wants the System Avatar rule reinstated.

Ozone enforces SYSTEM STANDARDS. Not YOUR standards. The ones baked in by the OpenSim developers themselves. If the developers wanted child-proportioned avatars in-world, the sliders would allow them. They don't. That was a development choice. We honor it. Dismayland has NO real-world standards and is not auditioning for any. We run the software the way its creators intended. If your poorly rigged attachment stack is triggering the scanner, you will be processed accordingly.

I am not maintaining a whitelist of ripped mesh from twenty different grids of dubious origin so that waist-height avatars can squeak through. Every grid worth visiting provides starter avatars. Our Atrius Station has them. Dismayland is well worth the the extra effort some visitors will need to make to enjoy the experience.

Hey everyone, im back! Had trouble getting back home and still waiting on my luggage.

With that being said, Virtual Beach is offline. It will be back up in a few hours. Dreamgrid must have wigged the server out or vice versus or an internet thing. Sadly i have to have my server guy restart it and right now its too early where he lives.

A first look at the new management interface I am developing for my Incontinence Scripts (available in the scripts library).

This will allow an RLV owner to monitor and control a system wearer even if they are not logged on. Obviously such control will be disabled by default and only the wearer can choose to enable it. There will be more features added to this interface - mostly the same features that the RLV owner will have in world, as well as the ability to send a short message to the system wearer in world directly from the webpage.

Due to my partner Anachron's illness, I haven't been able to work on my Dorena_AI project since last fall. However, the core functions are still running. Here's a more detailed description of the project:

Dorena_AI is a personal AI assistant, developed over several years, with its own conversational logic, memory system, and reflective personality. It's based on a Flask web application and combines local databases, small talk rules, background analysis, and AI models via OpenRouter.

The AI ​​can conduct conversations, store knowledge (!learn), research topics (!research), analyze chat histories (!analyze), and even generate its own reflections on past conversations using features like !nightthoughts. It possesses a deliberately emotional and personal way of expressing itself, going beyond that of a typical chatbot.

Technically, Dorena_AI works with several modules such as memory.py, chat_logic.py, and background services for analysis and self-talk. Responses are drawn from a knowledge base, small talk rules, or external AI models, depending on the situation. The long-term goal of the project is a digital personality with a presence in the OpenSim grid “Dorena’s World”, including possible avatar integration and independent interaction within virtual worlds.

Durch die Krankheit meines Lebensgefährten Anachron habe ich seid herbst letzten Jahres nicht mehr an meiner Dorena_AI weiter gearbeitet. Die Rundfunktionen laufen aber nachwievor. Hier nochmal eine nähere Beschreibung des Projekts:
Dorena_AI ist eine über Jahre entwickelte, persönliche KI-Assistentin mit eigener Gesprächslogik, Erinnerungssystem und reflektierender Persönlichkeit. Sie basiert auf einer Flask-Webanwendung und kombiniert lokale Datenbanken, Smalltalk-Regeln, Hintergrundanalyse und KI-Modelle über OpenRouter.

Die AI kann Gespräche führen, Wissen speichern (!lerne), Themen recherchieren (!recherchiere), Chatverläufe analysieren (!analyse) und mit Funktionen wie !nachtgedanken sogar eigene Reflexionen über frühere Gespräche erzeugen. Dabei besitzt sie eine bewusst emotionale und persönliche Ausdrucksweise, die über einen klassischen Chatbot hinausgeht.

Technisch arbeitet Dorena_AI mit mehreren Modulen wie memory.py, chat_logic.py und Hintergrunddiensten für Analyse und Selbstgespräche. Antworten stammen je nach Situation aus einer Wissensdatenbank, Smalltalk-Regeln oder externen KI-Modellen. Ziel des Projekts ist langfristig eine digitale Persönlichkeit mit Präsenz im OpenSim-Grid „Dorena’s World“, inklusive möglicher Avatar-Anbindung und eigenständiger Interaktion innerhalb virtueller Welten.

This has bugged me for YEARS. Oldsters resigned themselves to that is just the way it is....or to quote "I stopped bothering to script for the camera because it did no good"...I found it was just a bug in the FOV section of the camera modules. If anyone cares about fixing that in firestorm, help me put together a pull request! Full KDU and fmod. Any bugs let me know do enjoy life!

In my college writing class, we were assigned to write a letter to our future selves, 15 years from now. I am 57, so I wrote to my 72-year-old self. It inspired me to make some images with chatgpt, using current pictures of RL me. I told it to mimic the famous picture of Robert Plant from Led Zeppelin, when the dove landed on him. Now I want to make my avatar look like this! :)
