Planned Maintenance this morning took out 3 nodes of our High Availability Cluster. the cluster moved things around to keep things online. We lost 2 nodes out of our Mariadb 5-node Galera cluster and brought them back automatically total down time I reckon 5-10 minutes for what for some grids would have ben a catastrophic failure. https://www.wolf-grid.com

The vibrant sea life surrounds you, from playful dolphins and majestic sea turtles to curious jellyfish and exotic creatures you've only ever read about. This is now your back yard!

You could swim freely or explore in a variety of ways. Imagine taking a peaceful swim, discovering hidden underwater caves, or diving deeper to visit shipwrecks where you might uncover forgotten treasures. The world would be filled with endless opportunities for exploration, all from the comfort of your own home. Perhaps there’s even a stunning underwater garden filled with bioluminescent plants that glow in the dark or glowing creatures that light up the waters around you, creating an ethereal atmosphere.

For the first time, we are opening up our underwater worlds for 9 very lucky people who want to live there. There is an underwater home, a home with a cenote, a shack, a wreck and a few gorgeous homes. Although every house is different, the beauty of these homes begins when you step in the water. We are looking for residents who want to be active and make this their main home. These rentals are free....but we do not want land collectors, we want people who want to become a part of our community.

Compte rendu de la réunion du jeudi 5 décembre

Merci à Eden d'accueillir régulièrement cette réunion sur sa grille. De nombreuses personnes n'ont pu être informées ou venir en raison de la maintenance d'Osgrid. L'information a été diffusée sur Discord, le groupe des Francophones sur Opensimworld, ainsi que via les contacts de chacun.

Ont été abordés :

La sous-utilisation du groupe francophone d'Osw est un problème particulièrement criant vu les circonstances.

Le problème de l'utilisation du chat écrit et de la voix : les discussions techniques sont plus compréhensibles par écrit. La voix donne des discussions plus vivantes. Mais dans ce type de réunion où le nombre d'avatars est réduit, cela ne pose pas de gros problèmes. Il ne s'agit ni d'un cours magistral, ni d'une conférence, mais d'une discussion à bâtons rompus détendue qui est plus facile d'accès pour certaines personnes.

Il apparaît que cette réunion devrait être plus structurée. Pour une meilleure prise en compte de ce type de réunion, il sera demandé aux uns et aux autres quels sujets ils voudraient aborder.

Ankh est venue nous expliquer de façon détaillée ce qu'est une machine virtuelle, comment la créer et s'en servir. Un sujet qui a retenu l'attention de tous.

Il a aussi été question d'une clé USB bootable, particulièrement pour tester les versions Linux et des problèmes avec le setup pour certaines machines.

Enfin, sur Francopholie, le mémorial continue de se mettre en place.

Zombie Hunt - This year the Zombies want revenge at the hunters from previous years and have set traps amongst the barren, desolate ruins and lava pools. You begin to panic as you suddenly realize these are not simply mindless creatures, but a remnant of humanity that had retained a dark intelligence. You will not get out alive!

Pumpkin Patch- This Island offers the vibrant autumn colors and a huge assortment of pumpkins and fall decorating ideas for you. Enjoy the scenic walk as the red, and golden leaves fall from the trees. You will find pumpkins and Jack o lanterns of every size and shape.


Friends Castle - Explore all the rooms in this historic castle and find the exciting adult spots with your partner. Later, you can head up to the towers to enjoy shooting the pirates village with cannons. Right click on the cannons, Mount and then click each cannon in the battery. The targets will explode when enough damage occurs.


Haunted Forest - The forest is beautiful, but the other worldly creatures have turned it into a place that will give you nightmares! You will find some fun adult spots in the haunted forest if you dare!



Friendsville Cemetery - A beautiful little peaceful village situated on an island . The scenery is charming with the church, lighthouse and much more; however, something is mysterious at the cemetery.


Ghost Town - This ancient port town has been taken over by ghosts! Under the town is a huge 3 level cave complex for the brave explorers. Make your way outside to the Gardens of Ghosts and use midnight setting

Witchy Woods - you will follow the winding path through the woods and up the mountain to reach the coven of witches. At the mountain top home you will find a whole community of witches as well as huds.

Want your own doomsday server? Imagine having all of wikipedia downloaded to a hard drive with a program that can search and display articles. Kiwix for desktop (freeware) can do it. It even has download links under 'All Files' to d/l the wikipedia database for you making it painless. Not only that but you can download a bunch of other wiki's too. Imagine having maps of the world. Or a doomsday prep wiki. TedTalk videos. Audio books wiki. etc.

Lost Castles... There are many "popular" castles being circulated in world. But years ago I saw several gigantic castles that were incredibly well done and beautiful that appear to be lost to time. They were not seen anywhere else. One was a white elven castle that was super huge and extremely beautiful. Another was a grey stone castle with exquisite interior and very well designed rooms. The third lost castle was a dark castle with many rooms. It's sad these castles were lost to time as the creators eventually logged off taking their beautiful creations with them where they are no longer seen in todays entirety in-world. Very very sad. The creators were expert builders and their designs were the stuff of legend. Now they may sit on an old hard drive in someones attic somewhere, or perhaps they deleted them in a michael-angelo type fit of rage. No one knows. If you know of any of these castles can you please post their location onto this post, and I will tell you if that is one of them or not.

Cocky Clocks
This first set includes dark and light models. In addition to the clock hands moving, a certain *ahem* something ticks away the time for you. Click to adjust the time difference and try to enjoy, just not too much.

Additional cocky clocks are on their way, just need a bit of time to finish them up.
