For the last 3 weeks, I have dealt with a intermittent issue on my grid that has about driven me nuts. I have tested, and eliminated possibilities …..without luck.

Yesterday two of the largest grid owners in open sim, Lone Wolf from Wolf Territories and Josh Boam from Aviworlds, took time from their busy schedules to help finally fix this issue. In addition , Rafael from Wolf Territories assisted. I cannot say thanks enough!

Although I work with Josh’s hosting business, this involved much more. Josh would not give up and recruited Lone Wolf.

In my opinion, maybe this is what opensim was designed to be: sharing of knowledge and helping each other.

Lone Wolf and Josh did not have to give up their time to help a tiny grid…..but they did!

Maybe we can all learn from these individuals!

FYI. The default setting of 2 threadsets can cause major headaches depending on your region….it is way too low in some cases. You all probably know that…but I learned.

Another demo of tidal water, so this stream appears and disappears depending on the height of the tide. 99% of the regions on our grid use tidal water and there is a server that keeps them all in sync. You could have a castle with a tideal area around it that sometimes is under water and sometimes is not etc.

It's Winter and it's cold and snowing out.. why not take a vacation on your own beach in your own beach cottage.. come pick up the Atiu Beach Cottage and enjoy your vacation. Single room Beads as doors.. and Ubode tested

Was telling Ferd Frederix that I had created bubblegum but could not remember what script it was I used. He said Oh! I know that one and he passed me this cool bubblegum, I wanted to share it with all of you. OVERWATCH SENTRY V. 30 - AMAZING UPGRADES!
Now has a clickable menu. You can turn it on /off in the menu. You can click the [ban] button on the menu, and select ban by radar, name, ip, or key. This way you can manually add in a name, ip address, or key OR if the person is on your sim at the moment you want to ban them, just click the radar button (sim wide) and click their name on the menu. They are unsat, ejected, tp'd home, and all their info is saved to the appropriate file. No more manual notecard editing (unless you want to...) I hope you all enjoy it. I'm sorry I have to share the news that Flynn Sheridan passed away over the weekend. Many of our friends know that he was fighting a decade long battle with cancer. Please remember him with joy and happiness. Surf a wave in his honor and consider supporting RFL. Love to you all.

I originally developed this for my friend Prince of Amor to demonstrate a concept. Though I haven't got in touch with him and told him it's done, as we just talked about it yesterday. Anyway... What is it? It's a dance hud. But it's the most innovative dance hud in all the grids. You dump in a bunch of dances (it comes with some) and the hud counts them, and gets their names. All you do is click the < arrow or the > arrow on the hud to find the dance you want quickly. The name of it will be clearly displayed. Then to play or stop a dance you click the black square [] buttton. That's it. That's all. It's really cool. It's also free at Wizardry. :)
