Just updated the EUROPA multi destinations Teleporter Board - the previous one was too bright, sometimes, depending on my timezoned EEP sky one couldnt see at all the destination. 24 hours support 7 days per week? no, that would be impossible, we need to sleep as well :-) . However we are pleasantly crazy, and have friendly and helpfull grid owners and co-tennants. We have a double backup system for just in case, but so far we are stable and lag free.
Regions of 5x5 always, if you think it is too big, we can lower land for you, so you have water around your land. Lots is possible with a 5x5 region.

Und wieder das alte Leiden. Da geht man online und sieht aus wie aus der Hölle raus geworfen. Mehrfach die letzten Tage angeschrieben, keine Reaktion. Heute gleich nochmals und dieses mal ein Bild Inworld gemacht , nicht das es heißt ich hätte nicht geschrieben. Die gleiche Nachricht per Mail gesendet, es wird wohl nichts passieren.
Schön wenn hier User berichten das der Umzug gut verlief, ich bin am Verzweifeln und am Boden zerstört.

It’s great for other users that their migration went smoothly, but as for me—I’m in despair and completely devastated.

Laut Aussage von Masala muss dieses einer Überprüfung unterzogen werden ansonsten zieht nur das Land mit um. Werden da nun auch Unterschiede bei den Usern gemacht ? Alles sehr komisch. Ich freue mich echt das es User gibt die es hinter sich haben und das da alles geklappt hat. Aber was mich angeht bin ich da sehr skeptisch. So wie sich die ganze Sache jetzt schon gestaltet wird es wohl noch im Desaster enden.

According to Masala, the inventory has to undergo a review process; otherwise, only the land gets transferred. Are they making distinctions between different users, then? It’s all very strange. I’m genuinely happy for the users who have already gone through the process and for whom everything worked out, but as far as I’m concerned, I remain very skeptical. The way things are shaping up right now, this is likely to end in a disaster.

Das Ende einer Ära: Warum OSgrid nach 19 Jahren den Betrieb einstellt
19 Jahre lang war OSgrid mehr als nur ein Server oder eine Plattform. Es war ein digitales Grenzland, das auf einer radikalen Grundidee beruhte: dass ein offenes, dezentrales Metaverse allein durch Gemeinschaft, Vertrauen und eine gemeinsame Architektur florieren kann. Heute muss der Vorstand von OSgrid mit tiefem Bedauern das Ende dieser Reise verkünden. Wir beenden das Projekt offiziell.
Dieses Grid wurde weder von der Zeit noch durch mangelndes Engagement des Teams besiegt, das das Projekt über das letzte Jahrzehnt hinweg vorangetrieben hat. Es wurde systematisch von einem böswilligen Akteur zerstört, der unsere Kernphilosophie gegen uns wandte. Indem er genau jene Freiheit ausnutzte, die uns ausmachte – unser offenes Code-Framework –, löste er einen IAR-Prozess aus, der unsere Architektur mit riesigen Mengen zufälliger, nicht deduplizierbarer Daten überflutete. Die technische Realität ist unumkehrbar. In weniger als einem Jahr wuchs unser über die Zeit gewachsener Asset-Server von 5 TB auf 17 TB an (wovon 80 % mittlerweile Datenmüll sind). Unsere Tabelle für Inventargegenstände explodierte von 3 GB auf lähmende 139 GB, wodurch routinemäßige Datenbank-Backups von 10 Minuten zu einer 12-stündigen Tortur wurden. Unsere Assets sind faktisch „vergiftet“.
Wir standen vor einer entscheidenden Wahl. Der einzige Weg, diese Angriffe zu stoppen und die Datenbank zu sichern, bestünde darin, unsere Infrastruktur zu schließen und zu einem geschlossenen, kommerziellen Modell überzugehen. Ein solcher Schritt würde das offene Ethos, auf dem dieses Grid ursprünglich aufgebaut wurde, vollständig zunichtemachen. Keiner unserer technischen Mitarbeiter ist bereit, ein kommerzialisiertes, abgeschottetes System („Walled Garden“) zu betreiben. Das ist schlichtweg nicht das, wofür sich irgendjemand hier engagiert hat. Das auf der letzten Sitzung vorgeschlagene Gebührensystem war zwar ein Schritt, um dieses Problem effizienter zu bekämpfen, doch um die Angriffe wirklich zu beenden, müssten wir das Grid dauerhaft abriegeln. Wir weigern uns, die Seele und das Modell von OSgrid zu opfern, nur um den Betrieb irgendwie aufrechtzuerhalten. Täglich elf Stunden im Schichtdienst damit zu verbringen, Angriffe abzuwehren und vergiftete Daten zu bereinigen, ist als ehrenamtliche Tätigkeit nicht mehr tragbar. Wir haben über die Jahrzehnte viele Arten von Angriffen überstanden und abgewehrt, doch die Entropie hat letztlich gesiegt. Als der Vorstand gestern diese endgültige Entscheidung traf, saßen bei Hurliman Menschen am Tisch, die zusammen auf über 80 Jahre Metaverse-Erfahrung zurückblicken. Wir sind nicht bloß Administratoren, die einen Server abschalten; wir sind Veteranen dieses Grids, die mit ansehen müssen, wie unsere eigene Geschichte – genau wie eure – in Flammen aufgeht. An unsere 153.000 registrierten Nutzer: Wir wissen genau, was diese Auslöschung bedeutet. Ihr habt euch hier nicht nur eingeloggt. Ihr habt eine Gemeinschaft aufgebaut. Fast zwei Jahrzehnte lang habt ihr programmiert, gestaltet und in diesen Regionen gelebt. Eine Datenbank zu löschen bedeutet mehr als nur das Entfernen von Dateien – es ist, als würde man digitale Zuhause mit Bulldozern dem Erdboden gleichmachen, tägliche Verbindungen kappen und ein absolut einzigartiges Kapitel der Internetgeschichte begraben. Die Schwere dieses Verlusts ist absolut. Wir gehen nicht leichten Herzens; wir tragen diesen Schlag gemeinsam mit euch an vorderster Front, denn die technische Realität dieser „vergifteten“ Architektur ließ uns keine andere Wahl.
Leider müssen wir euch mitteilen: Die Dienste von OSgrid werden am 31. Dezember 2026 um Mitternacht eingestellt.

Auch wenn Auktionen in dieser Phase völlig deplatziert wirken mögen, wäre es noch schlimmer, die enorme Arbeit, die die Community in diese Bauwerke gesteckt hat, einfach zu verwerfen. GridGather accepts four image formats everywhere you can upload:
Format Notes
JPG / JPEG Best for photos and Firestorm snapshots
PNG Good for logos and screenshots
GIF Animated GIFs stay animated
WebP Smaller files, same quality
The 360° button takes JPG, PNG or WebP. Firestorm saves 360 snapshots as JPG by default.
Size limits:
The server allows up to 15MB per file (nginx’s limit).
Post photos are capped at 5MB.
360° snapshots can be up to 15MB.
Message photos are capped at 10MB.
