The next addition to the Homelandz Public Library is a wonderful romance/thriller from Nicholas Sparks, called Safe Haven. It was published in 2010, and adapted to film in 2013, starring Josh Duhamel and Julianne Hough.

The novel is a tale of Erin, who flees an alcoholic abusive police detective husband. She moves far away, changes her name to Katie, and tries to start a new life. She gets on well with Alex' 2 children. But will her obsessive abusive detective alcoholic husband let her walk away that easily?
