Die Kosmische Odyssee von Gong

Die Geschichte von Gong ist keine gewöhnliche Bandbiografie. Sie ist eine kosmische Erzählung, die aus Zufall, politischem Exil und einer unbändigen kreativen Vision geboren wurde. Im Zentrum dieser Saga steht der australische Musiker Daevid Allen, dessen unfreiwilliger Aufenthalt in Frankreich 1967 den Grundstein für eine der eigenwilligsten und einflussreichsten Bands der Progressive- und Space-Rock-Geschichte legte. Nachdem ihm wegen eines abgelaufenen Visums die Wiedereinreise nach Großbritannien verwehrt wurde, endete seine Zeit bei der richtungsweisenden Canterbury-Band Soft Machine abrupt. Doch dieser Schicksalsschlag erwies sich als schöpferischer Katalysator. Gestrandet in Paris, einer Stadt, die in den späten 60er Jahren von künstlerischer und politischer Gärung brodelte, fand Allen den perfekten Nährboden für seine unkonventionellen Ideen.

Wednesday I will be unavailable all day as I am having a small surgical procedure done and a few test. Fingers crossed. This also means early bed time Tuesday evening, any help that is needed has to be done by 11pm.

July 16-20th I will be camping, that means I will have very limited internet if any at all. Rocky will keep an eye on the grid for me while i am gone. Here, in a quiet village nestled among towering peaks, women sit before backstrap looms, their fingers moving like dancers, weaving stories into wool. The wool isn’t from sheep—it’s from alpacas, gentle creatures raised on the highland slopes. Their fleece is softer than the first snowfall, lighter than a whisper. Some say it feels like weaving clouds.

The colors in this fabric are taken from nature itself. Indigo skies, twilight purples, and the brilliant orange of dawn—each hue is hand-dyed with plants, minerals, and flowers passed down through generations. I wanted a variety of car garages, so I built some. I thought maybe someone else would like to have them too. They range from 13 to 27 prims and are designed to sink slightly into the ground. They are FP, so you can tint or recolor if you wish. They are all set to take a copy. Find them behind the main shop. Look for the big NEW sign in the sky. Please let me know if you encounter any issues, as I am using a new door script. Dragon not included. ;)
