Bad Event Idea 666: The Best At Winning Halloween, Old Style.
Lots of places in OS are going to have Halloween events that reflect contemporary traditions and themes. Be different. Celebrate Halloween Old Style.

Event activities will include:
Snap-Apple: You tie a string around the middle of a stick and hang it from the ceiling. You attach an apple on one end of the stick and a lit candle on the other. Then you spin the stick. The goal: Players try to take a bite of the apple while avoiding burning wax and flames in their mouths.

Not your thing? Try Snapdragon, in which you “try to snatch bits of dried fruit or wrapped fortunes from a dish of flaming alcohol.”

Plus, who is going to be the best at wearing the classic bed sheet ghost costume to terrorize or sexually assault women? (As was done in Britain in the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries). Actually, please don't do this. Don't do any of this.

Yes, those were the bad old days, and it’s all part of this bad event idea.

Welcome to Pendle Hollow!! This is Harmony speaking! LOL! We were going to open Pendle Hollow with a big birthday bash for Pixey and Harmony's rl birthdays, but Hurricane Milton had other plans! Pixey is in Florida and got through the hurricanes and has power but no internet and they aren't expecting it to be restored for another week or more, so she asked me to go ahead and open the region for al of our open sim friends! I am cleaning up after the storm of building and landscaping and will have this scary, beautiful region opened Friday with a little construction still going on and shops to fill!

Pendle Hollow is a Halloween themed region based on the Pendle Witches (Pixey, Harmony and Macy!) in England in 1612! We don't practice witchcraft and believe that witches are good and loving, at least we are! We will still have our party with DJ Macy spinning some spooky rock, country and other Halloween delights so please watch for our announcement!

Something new is coming to virtual beach. Virtual Beach Memorial Gardens, there are plenty of empty plots if anyone would like one for there loved ones or friends. I wanted to create a space in world we could cherish and honor those we love. There is also a waterfall wall honoring veterans

Lukas found himself back at the gathering in the temple with the Amaranthine, unaware of the angry crowd around him. He felt the fog descend over his mind once more and it saddened him. Falling to his knees, he looked up into her eyes as she reached down to touch his cheek.

I had some time to play with PBR thank you @FerdFrederix for suggesting I try it, and as you can see it makes the jewelry look so much better!! Nice! But that means I have my work cut out for me, I have lots of jewelry to update. I will have a PBR section at the store, keeping the old classic textures because not all grids support PBR, this is the first piece I will get it in the store today sometime, Celtic Knot Picture Locket.

With each step deeper into the cavern, the light from my lantern flickered against the damp walls, revealing eerie formations of stone that looked like frozen screams. Shadows danced as I moved, and the air thickened with an otherworldly presence. Just as I began to settle into the rhythmic sound of my footsteps echoing, the temperature plummeted. A sudden draft swept through, carrying with it a sense of dread.

My breath came out in visible puffs as I instinctively tightened my grip on the lantern. Then, through the thickening fog, a figure emerged. It was a ghost—a wrinkled, semi-transparent apparition with hollow eyes and an anguished expression that seemed carved from the very essence of fear. Its mouth opened wide in a silent scream, and the air around it shimmered with an unnatural energy.

Before I could react, a wave of exhaustion washed over me. I felt my energy being pulled from my body, like a magnet drawing metal. It was as if the ghost was siphoning the very life force from me, its expression a mix of longing and despair.
