🎉 Integration between OpenSim NewLifeItaly Grid and Hexivia Videochat: real-time IM messages!
A bridge between metaverse and web in real time.
The Hexivia platform has recently completed an advanced integration with the OpenSim NewLifeItaly grid, allowing the sending of IM (Instant Message) messages directly from the web videochat to the avatars present in the grid.
This feature, developed internally by the Hexivia team, opens new possibilities for synchronous communication between users connected via browser and users present in the virtual world.
🔧 How does it work?
Users connected to the Hexivia videochat can see who is currently online in the grid (NewLifeItaly).
It is possible to send private messages (IM) to those avatars with a simple click.
The system routes the messages in real time to the script resident in the grid, which receives via HTTP and forwards the IM to the specific user.
Everything happens with an elegant interface, directly integrated into the videochat experience, without the need for external software or additional logins.
🔐 Security and privacy
Messages are securely forwarded through authenticated HTTP endpoints.
The sender's name is included to ensure transparency in communication.
Messages are logged server-side for internal audits (optional).
🌍 Why it's important
This integration represents a step forward in interoperability between web platforms and decentralized metaverses. Connecting web users to those in OpenSim (without requiring client viewers) opens up scenarios:

The entire integration was designed and developed by Hexivia, the same team that manages and develops the videochat platform.
With attention to technical details, performance and usability, the system is designed to be scalable, extensible and ready for future evolutions (such as two-way notifications, avatar presence, etc.).

It's here, LESHMOR HOUSE!!! One of the structures to be used in the "Deceptions" role play which is a fan fiction spin off from the Witcher after Season 3 on streaming. With the shake up in actors and their stray from the novels, watching season 4 is not in the books for me, but I wanted the story to continue, so I threw in my own changes and twists and plan to have a great RP for those interested in being involved in this fan fiction future for our canon characters and for new characters that the players come up with (within reason). If you just like and want the house, come and get it, it's there for the taking and will make a great western or medieval building. It is copy, modify, transfer but keep in mind it is partial mesh so modifying will not be easy, but it can be done. If you just want to re texture it, it's easy, peasy lemon squeezy. Our next release to the Homelandz Public Library is a classic rather short novel that is a gripping and touching tale of 2 unlikely traveling companions, looking for work, and a piece of the American Dream. I highly recommend the modern movie remake of the black and white classic as well. The newer one features Gary Sinise as George, and John Malkovich as Lenny.

Of Mice and Men is a 1937 novella written by American author John Steinbeck. It describes the experiences of George Milton and Lennie Small, two displaced migrant ranch workers, as they move from place to place in California, searching for jobs during the Great Depression.

Steinbeck based the novella on his own experiences as a teenager working alongside migrant farm workers in the 1910s, before the arrival of the Okies whom he would describe in his novel The Grapes of Wrath. The title is taken from Robert Burns' poem "To a Mouse": "The best laid schemes o' mice an' men / Gang aft agley" ("The best-laid plans of mice and men / Often go awry").

Although the book is taught in many schools, Of Mice and Men has been a frequent target of censorship and book bans for vulgarity and for what some consider offensive and racist language. Consequently, it appears on the American Library Association's list of the Most Challenged Books of the 21st Century.

Now that i am back from my vacation and recovering from getting sick, I am working on a new project. When I was on the Cruise ship, I loved the spa so much I wanted to incorporate it into vb. The spa will be at Meditation Gardens. It will have some Saunas, therapy pools, ice room as well as massage rooms and the wellness pods will be moved into the spa as well.

I had this ad up sometime back, and I thought I'd run it again. This is Lavine Mansion which I was encouraged to make after I accidentally got a copybotted version of a friends creation. I wanted a mansion very much and one that was beautiful and had a Victorian flare to it, so I built one and there is nothing more gratifying that building your own. This mansion has a huge living room, dining room, kitchen, great hall, sun porch and patio as well as a total of 10 rooms and a full attic which could be modified to add more rooms. It also has a cute little balcony on the front and is encased in red brick with concrete fancy molding and a cinder block foundation as well as black cast railing and large concrete pillars. You truly have to see it and tour it to appreciate it. Stop by and select the Lavine Mansion on the Teleporter. It is free, fully linked, copyable, modifiable and transferrable.
