I tried running 5.87 but... I had issues with it. It loaded the wizardry sim 3x the objects. In other words you could delete any object and there would stilll be 2 of the same object in the same spot. Additionally, it loaded only very little of other oars. So regions that were huge would only load like 200 mb. So not sure what is up with 5.87. I did however, find a complete save of 5.62 where i backed up the entire dreamgrid directory. So I copied that to a new production location and executed it, and im back in business. Since I have the storage space I may do this from now on.

I stumbled across something cool today. I have been working on a huge cluster of 6x6 regions, with all mis-matched, imported terrains. So there was a LOT of terraforming and blending, which can take a long time with the land tool. I discovered a debug setting "LandBrushSize" It normally maxes out at 11, but you can set it to cover a HUGE area and very quickly flatten out sim edges and smooth them, build mountains quickly, etc. You can get to the Debug settings with control-alt-shift-S and type "LandBrushSize" in the search box. It set mine to 30 or 40 to do large areas.

Central station
From here you get fast to Park Avenue/Central Park and old town red light district. Subway is still fake. Have to dig 4 km before a subway can run from Congress center over Park Avenue Plaza, Central station and Airport (perhaps expo center too) I should have done this first. Now it is more complicated with all the buildings.But ok.

I put out the avatar clone machine, that we had discussed earlier. It is a concentual "donate your body to the dance machine" script. A person who wishes to donate types "clone-me" in chat. It generates a preview, and the person types "confirm" in chat again to finish donating their appearance. It's at our club on the welcome region. Follow the paw prints. :) There is a vendor box next to it, that will give you a copy of the board for your own use.
