My friends in SL wanted me to upload jewelry for them so I went in and tried to load these, they cost 98L for the upload, and when they do upload they are huge! and you cannot reduce them down to fit the avatar, they are thick and ugly! I would first have to make them nano (more work plus the cost of upload) So I came back to OpenSim and uploaded them for FREE, which means I can give them FREE! I originally developed this for my friend Prince of Amor to demonstrate a concept. Though I haven't got in touch with him and told him it's done, as we just talked about it yesterday. Anyway... What is it? It's a dance hud. But it's the most innovative dance hud in all the grids. You dump in a bunch of dances (it comes with some) and the hud counts them, and gets their names. All you do is click the < arrow or the > arrow on the hud to find the dance you want quickly. The name of it will be clearly displayed. Then to play or stop a dance you click the black square [] buttton. That's it. That's all. It's really cool. It's also free at Wizardry. :)

To our residents and visitors
Last week ILY went offline due to a power supply failure that took out the motherboard and corrupted the main database of our server. We have now replaced the server and have got some of the grid back up and running from a back up. ILY 1 is now running and all those who had parcels on that region will have them replaced over the next few days.
We have replaced our broken server with one with a slightly higher spec, however the server had not faulted - it was zapped by high volts when the UPS failed during an Electricity Network High Voltage Fault in Manchester.
Sadly we have not been able to recover the database though we are continuing to try and repair it. That means we cannot recover the individual inventories of our residents and our residents will need to make new avatars.
Going forward our backups will be done to The Cloud instead of too our 2nd Network Server - this has added extra cost and increased security to the grid.
All those who have bought land from us will get equivalent sized parcels back and will get 6 months free rent as compensation.
We will need to rebuild the islands on ILY2. Sadly it is unlikely we will be able to rebuild ILY3 so we will not be replace the holiday homes that some of you had. We will in time build a new holiday home region.
It may be a couple of weeks before normal service is restored but we WILL be back and we hope you will stay with us.

Dreamgrid 5.491 is out. I installed it and experienced issues. For some reason dreamgrid is choosing random port numbers outside the range i forwarded for dreamgrid use. This means that random sims in my dreamgrid are unreachable when i go to teleport. In my case half the sims were offline. It seems if you do not use Upnp, that the latest dreamgrid skips ports in the allocated port list, and chooses some ports in a slightly higher range. If you have a small number of ports allocated, then this means that some sims will come online with a port number outside your forwarded port range making them inaccessible. So beware of this issue.
