Getting closer to Christmas, thinking of an old friend. We had a lot of fun racing these. Missing her laughter and personality. We all have some good times here, try and enjoy every moment because people don't last forever. She changed my life in a way she could never have imagined. Here's to old friends at Christmas!

Babylon Farm sits on its own beautiful island at Avedon park. It was built in the 1920's by the film producer Don Wallach. Wallach was famous for his "notorious" parties at the farm, many often lasted for days. The remnants of those days still stand, and you can check out the beautiful farmland, wild horses, beautiful scenery, access to water, romantic getaways and.. is that an Elephant? What a party that was! Everyone is welcome at Avedon Park.

Marche Noir (the Black Market)
Marche Noir is a new shop full of classic imports, dating back to the time when imports were new to OS. It's a carefully curated selection of items that are, surprisingly, relatively rare. This is stuff so old, it's new again.

Marche Noir Deux is an open air "yard sale." It's found behind the Marche Noir Une shop, and also in small pavilions and platforms scattered around the region. Marche Noir Deux, and Marche Noir Une, are still under construction. But feel free to take anything there. Also, the region is full of items that can be had by right-clicking on them and selecting "buy."

For me, part of sharing in OS is sharing traffic. So, the shop has a small but growing number of TP boards to the best shops in OS. I'm not going to try to duplicate items in shops with fresh imports, well presented. You are better off shopping there. In fact, we don't care so much about traffic here. We want to be known for the likes and comments we get. If you care to do that, it will be much appreciated.

The rusty locomotive of forgotten history...

100 years ago, on 23/09/1923, in a slightly more advanced country, the people rose up and stopped the first attempt of fascism to seize power. The uprising is drowned in blood by the fascist government, but it still succeeds because the government falls from power and the fascists never succeed in fooling our people again.
Unfortunately, after only 10 years, fascism succeeded in another country and is still fooling the more naive people of the world.
Little evidence remains from that time.
In front of the train station in the town of Stara Zagora in Bulgaria, the locomotive of modern history is rusting... Yes, that's right, with this locomotive with the iconic number 555, more than 100 years ago, progress moved across half of Europe (try to find more of his long history).
Lost or intentionally deleted pages of history, changed facts... Maybe you also need safe transportation for the future? The locomotive is here, it hasn't escaped...

We had an awesome visit from the HG Safari group on Wednesday, September 20th and it went beautifully. Though we didn't get to share everything in the region, that leaves room to return and see the rest of this beautiful and amazing region. The animals had a blast, or so they said, seeing all of those humans in their natural surroundings and a few even looked pretty tasty to them. We all hope to see you again in return visits to see and learn more about conserving and preserving our beautiful world full of incredibly amazing wildlife.
