Lunar and Chinese New Year is Wednesday January 29th this year. This year is the Year of the Snake. According to the South China Morning Post "The Snake represents wisdom, knowledge, intelligence, intuition and creativity. Snakes are also associated with good luck, prosperity, fertility and longevity. In some legends, snakes are considered divine messengers and guardians of sacred places. Snakes are also revered for their ability to shed their skin and renew themselves, symbolising transformation and rebirth." There are a few New Year gifts in the Lucky Dragon to be found. There's always a new calendar and this year there's a little plant as well as of course red envelopes and the other goodies. Almost everything in the restaurant, including the restaurant itself is free to copy/buy for 0. So if you'd like a Lucky Dragon for your own little town, assume it's a chain and enjoy. The doors are separates and because of the nature of the mesh building base the kitchen doors are a little trick so grab both sides. You click to sit and end up on a poseball on each side to get through. Happy Year of the Snake!

The bride arrives at the Wedding Reception area. Luxury awaits inside the reception area. The foyer is large with fireplace and lounges and champagne readily available. There is a dining room for formal dining that overlooks the stunning gardens - floor to ceiling glass adorn this venue - bringing the outdoors indoors.
A scrumptious smorgasbord for the most fastidious diner awaits. A dancing area opens out to another side of the landscaped gardens that include tropical rainforests, arbors, fountains and much more.

The Mi'kmaq and other Algonquin nations have legends of a troll named Kukwes, that are very similar to the stories of trolls in the Tolkien novels. I found a model that I could rig as an npc avatar. I am thinking he will grab passers by, throw them in a cooking pot, and regale the captive audience with lovely stories and legends while the victim is cooking. :D .

The ELEVEN CITIES SKATING TOUR. SKATE AND COLLECT STAMPS, WIN A PRIZE.
A skating tour , 12 sims huge , leading you through a wonderful winter landscape with some nice details underway, like cabins for a rest ( or a cuddle ), Icy waterfalls, animals, and more surprises.
How does it work?
Hop : grid.kitely.com:8002:Catronian Archipelago
On the landing place a teleport sign will lead you to the winter fair/ skating tour start point.
Find the information board. It gives you historical information about this funny Dutch tradition, and an opportunity to collect all the original stamps in this tour and win the 11 cities trophy , which in the Netherlands is like being a local hero.
You will get a map/ texture and when opening your world map, you will be able to locate all the checkpoints by comparing the map with your position on the world map. We introduced this bc too many people got lost on track and miss stamps !
Drag all your stamp textures on a notecard and sent it to me. You will be rewarded . I will mention names of the people who are in the "hall of fame" in this thread.
Oh, and don't forget to visit the market with all its freebees !

We will POST some of our roleplays here continuously to show you all how much we love to RP and keep you aware of whats going on. We already had multiple ones. :
RP - The group was investigating the invasion of dragons on Westeros soil. Rowk and Asad were found during the travel back to the 7 kingdoms. They found some people still alive and living on the vast land. One of them, Mina C. a farmer, was brought to safety in the thick walled Redkeep.
- They then found one of what we call 'People of the Forest', Anniera May who lives on the North-East near a bay in the Vale. She also was made aware of the dragon threat. She is eager to give us assistance.
- As for a third person, Justin Case who right away wanted to help too, was quickly made to guard the North in CastleBlack.
All those people skills helps to keep an eye on the many parts or Westeros. The future King Max C. and his Hand Steve will keep contact with them regularly, uniting as a group every Sundays (beside Dec 16th) so all kingdoms stay safe. ((You all are invited to join us in those meetings !))

Then I was able to clean the pots with contact cleaner, then i resoldered every connection on the pcb. Then I reseated the tubes, and checked for bad caps. |

I love the mellow smooth sounds of analog electronics, especially the incredible modulation of the electron beam (the glow in the tubes). It's like magic for sound, so much better than digital (off/on) . |
